Congrats!!

I've had my MINI two weeks today and have put 900 miles on it already. I'm almost to the break in milage and then the fun can really start.

Congrats to all week 20ers and I hope everyone loves their car as much as I love mine!!

 

Here Here! I haven't seen any complaints yet. Looks like week 20 was an extra good run.

according to OL the delivery date is 6/23.



seems like california has to wait the longest. but good things come to those who wait, right?

We're picking ours up in about 24hrs. on Friday afternoon in KC!

Seems like it's kind of late, if Week 20 Californians are getting there's now too! Oh well, I don't care anymore....I'll just be happy to finally have it.

I think it actually has a Week 19 (5/10/2006) production date, but I'm not sure. It was fun to hang with this group since most of you shipped out about the same time.

We'll have fun on the way home back to Nebraska....my wife will be in the MINI and I'll be in the TT...in contact with FRS radios. Hopefullly she'll let me drive the MINI part of the way home!

 

We just picked up Winston yesterday! What a great car...I'm totally impressed with it...this thing is fantastic!

My first impressions are:

-great build quality, solid
-pretty quick (can't wait to get it broken in)
-really does handle like a go kart...out of the box it handles better than the TT did before I upgraded the suspension with Bilsteins and Eibachs. (It probably handles better than the TT, even with the upgrades...since the TT is quite heavy)... I'll have to spend some more time motoring to really compare.
-pound for pound, probably the most fun car I've driven so far.

We've already put on about 250 miles....mostly interstate...gotta go find some twisties!

Congrats! Winston is one nice looking MINI.

I have surpassed the 1250 mile break in limit in 2 1/2 weeks and now the fun can really begin. I love driving this car and a really unexpected benifit is that it relieves stress. I can be having a terrible day but when I get in my MINI and start driving it all goes away.

I love this Car!!!!

We're headed up to the Black Hills, SD for the 4th....I can't wait to take Winston on the Needles Highway and all the other twisties. We'll probably put on another 1200 miles by this time next week...it's gonna be a blast!

 

Appears to be no recent post but I just found this group and am a Week 20 baby as well so here I am. Somewhat new to NAM in totality yet going to circulate about the site and visit you all one day.
