the dash rattle is pretty common. I've see certain threads where the person took it back to dealer, they added some sound deadening stuff however it came back soon after. Depends on your preference to get it fixed or not. Our little cars have their nuances and mine has that dash vibration however I've chosen to ignore it.

As for the seatbelt - Not had that one. Let the warranty deal with it

Stupid rattle...

Yea i have that same issue on my '05 MC but i got into a habit of pushing down the mid-dash as soon as i hear it. Anyway, most of the time i zone it out with the radio or "spirited" driving ...you'll get used to it.

If it really bothers you, go see your Mini dealer and they should be able to fix it. Gonna check mine out when i have an oil change.

Congrats on the Mini and Happy Motoring! Oh and welcome to NAM!

I heard the dash rattle for the fist time little more than a week ago on an 05 MCS July build been driving since Aug. 25000 miles, I never heard it until I switched from runflats to regular radials, everything else got so quiet I have heard it a few times now if it gets to be really bad I'll mention it the next time I'm at the dealer along with about 15 other little changes/adjustments/fixes that need to be tweaked.

For the record this is about 20-30 quieter a rattle and also far less frequent than my last car (95 SL1) had and the dealers are at least willing to try and fix this.

I have those exact two rattles in my 05 MC. Pushing down on the dash usually helps, as does ignoring it/radio . If it bugs you a lot have the dealer fix it, they can usually quell the problem.
