Baxter's Glorias Entrance

Wow, today has just been...wow. My first MINI finally found its way into my loving arms. After about a year of waiting to order, a year filled with lots of lurking and participating in what I could here, and only a 5 week build-to-delivery period Baxter is finally mine. She (yes named Baxter but she is a she) may not see the massive after market upgrades that seem so popular here, maybe a CAI when I get the cash together, but many of the upgrades I plan for her are cosmetic. I want the chrome grille, but that can wait. Eventually I will upgrade the wheels and get a set of snow tires. Soon I will do an Aux port install. So nothing much.

She will see a few track days, as many as I can afford, and will be driven often. I'll do my best to keep her clean, especially her white rims. I shall keep her safe from other motorists and as much weather as possible.

Just so you know the nitty gritty, Baxter is a:
2006 HB/W MCSa
white v-spokes, cold weather, Xenons, F&B fog lamps, DSC, Blk/Grey Letherette, Body Color Int., Chrome Line Int., and MFSW.

Pictures to come soon as I comb through the couple dozen or so that I and my family took.

One last thing D&R MINI and Jim Barth...VERY GOOD AND VERY COOL

Well let me be the first to welcome Baxter home then! I think you may have just about won the "Quickest Custom Spec'd Delivery" ever...if only the rest of us could be so lucky! Drive it around the block once for each person who is waiting on theirs!

Congrats!!!
Can't wait to see the pics.
So I'm guessing you have a subscription to MC2 magazine? Like you, I'm planning on a CAI and was thrilled to see the how-to in the last issue and may attempt it myself (time permitting).
Have you signed up for your first track day yet?

Happy Motoring,
Annette

Here they are...there are many more be assured, but this is all that really mattered.

These were pretty big ones for my own use so you can see them in extreme size in my gallery (the last one is flickr hosted) but soon I'll fit more into my account here by making smaller copies just for NAM usage.
enjoy!

Congrats on Baxter!!! I haven't named mine yet. HB was a close color choice for me, looks great! I'm sure you'll enjoy it, I've got close to 500 miles on mine now.

Hey Deuce, nice looking car. You have great taste in colors. Nothing looks as great as Hyper blue/white. The chrome grille looks great on that color. I'd also recommend the euro parcel shelf. Happy motoring!
