Hi there---new to the forum--i have a 2006 cooper s--her name is Vivien Stella---she is red with black bonnet stripes, black mirror caps, black roof--anthracite wheels.
i have noticed in the three months i have had her, that the windows will slightly lower when you open the doors--however every once in a blue moon, they don't go back up when the doors are closed--is this normal?
thanks,
Samantha

Aloha and welcome to NAM.
When the windows don't self height adjust when the doors are closed/opened this is NOT correct. You need to report it to your dealership and they will have to check the window regulator. I've had two regulators replaced on my passenger window even though I never have passengers using the window.
In my MINI I've had the window stay up when the door is opened then when closing the door the window doesn't go down and the door cannot close. So I open the door, use the window control to lower the window, then close the door and raise the window. Usually the next time I open the door the window lowers itself a little.

You can upload some pictures by going to "My MINI gallery" on the right then you can post those or photos from other sites in a thread by click the box with mountains and putting in the url. Or you can attach a thread to your post from your hard drive in the option below your message. For more info check the FAQs for the site, it took some practice for me to learn.
I'd let the dealer know about the window just in case anything happend down the road.
Great choice of ID/SN. Happy motoring!
