Okay let's hear from all you Week 10 people out there. I just called Ask MINI and they confrimed Week 10 Ending March 10

Yoo Hoo am I the only one in week 10? man that means It's going to be fast.

 

Hi Sandie. I might also be week 10 (still have to call ASK MINI to find out for sure...); it supposed to be "early March," anyway.

Specs:
MCS CR/B
+ Sport package
+ JCW kit
+ Black leather upholstry
+ Anthracite dash/interior (gray headliner, though)
+ Autodimming rearview mirror
+ Sunroof
+ Rear foglight (I convinced myself to get this one as a "safety feature" when backing up at night)
+ Security system
+ JCW matte black 18" wheels (r105 design)

Looks like I'll be putting a set of virgin 17" S-lites and tires on sale at Ebay in the near future...

I'm planning to get the black aero grill installed after it arrives. Will also be yanking the stereo and going aftermarket (probably Alpine head unit, new speakers, and a sub). Finally, I'm thinking to go for the JCW carbon fiber bonnet scoop, mirror caps, and dash at some point (maybe later this summer).

Now just have to wait patiently... it's not easy!

 

My MA tells me week 9, ask MINI says week 10 who do you believe??

06 MCS, BRG, black roof, chrome door mirror caps, beige leather, anthracite interior and headliner, convenience, cold weather, premium, sports (including web spoke alloy wheels), chrome line interior, harmon kardon, rearfog lamp. I got the rear fog lamp at the salesman's suggestion, otherwise one of six buttons would be just a cap...

Hi cwilliamsjr... that's what I call a british car (BRG / tan interior). I say that as my Mom was always talking about how she wanted a Jaguar in that color scheme for the last 20 years... and when she finally got her Jag 1.5 years ago, she got black...

Anyway, sounds like a nice setup! Congrats!

 

Almost bought an MGB with same color scheme, regretted not...
Tracking my mini now shows correct color, but order details is still blank, does that take a while to show up?
Sounds like both of you are on west coast, I'm on the east coast, Augusta Ga (home of the Masters golf tournament), guess I get my mini first.

 

Well, I had thought I was in week 9 (per my MA) but found out from ASK MINI that I'm in Week 10...after calling every day (and twice today!) I found out that I'm scheduled for production with a completion date of March 8th. Yippee!!!

 

I got a verbal week 10 from the dealer, AskMini says "scheduled for production without a firm date" or something like that; keeping my fingers crossed, haven't seen anyone say week 11 yet so it should happen.

I hope...

 

Hi, I'm a week 10 build 3/9/2006. I just ordered today and MY MA at Flow Mini was Ed Simmons. He was great to work with. I ordered a MCS JCW Chile/W Areo Kit Driving Lights and all packages and more. I have been waiting 2.5 years for this car. I hope to take it to the Dragon in May. Are there anymore Dragon Slayers here?

 

Scholli, you are in Week 9 it just ends production on the 8th I called today they said I went into production yesterday with a finish date of 3/7 so I am leaving you now for Week 9

 

Another JCW... I think MINI is selling a lot of these since they started offering them direct from the factory. Looks like you've got your's spec'd out even more than mine....

 

No fair! But, as I also ordered from MOTH a few days after you, I'm thinking I should finally get around to calling ASKMINI... I've just been checking the website so far...

Hello All.

I think I'm week 10 - ASKMINI told me 3/14 as the scheduled "finish production" date. Specs are below in my sig.

About me since this is my first post.

I love curves. I raced motorcycles in the midwest region of CCS two summers ago, but now I have a daughter and another on the way so I'm looking for something a little safer. I'm just finishing grad school and will be taking a job in Ann Arbor in April. Test drove a MINI and decided it was about as much fun as one can have on four wheels. Nice signing bonus so I ordered up a MCS. Can't wait to get it!

 

My new Hyper Blue S changed status today. In production now with a completion date of 3/15. Does this make me a week 11 or a week 10?

 

Using Sandie's logic to Scholli posted below, you would be in the last day of week 10.
My baby (thinking of naming her Chloe, a good British name since she's BRG) is supposed to complete production this Thursday.
My wife and I already have 5 kids and I don't rememer being this obsessed over any of them.

Well, maybe the first one...

 

I was told by Mini USA that I have been moved to week 12 with a completion date of 3/24/2006. It was suppose to be built week 9 then it was week 10 now week 12. I wonder if it's my JCW option that is taking the extra time?

Sems like an awful lot of JCW packages in this week. I thought about it but I plan on passing her on to my 13 year old son in 3 years, and the thought of him with that much Hp convinced me to forego it. At least, he gets her if he details her every Sat for the next 3 years...

Guess I'll see how the 2009 model specs out.

 

My daughter wants one also but I plan on getting her a cooper with a custom pink and white paint job. She is a great kid and doing very well in school. I will have about four years to wait till she needs it. She will have to earn it.
