Are you guys putting in the entire VIN number or the last 7 digits on the WW site?

Mine was at the port awaiting a shipping vessel bound for Port Hueneme, CA on 3/15. AskMINI says they will not have any info beyond that point and I'm trying to figure out which of the few boats that leave for the West Coast I'll be on. I had not planned on the 23 - 24 day trip to the West Coast so I'm coming in later than I was hoping.

Has anyone heard any time estimates for the Aero kit to be installed at the Vehicle Processing Center? I've seen estimates as long as 3 - 4 weeks!

 

I'm putting the full VIN in.

I just checked the WW site today. It has confirmed that I'm "LOADED ON VESSEL". So that's great news...

 

AskMINI is saying as of today that my 'Vehicle is in Transit'.

Do ALL MINIs travel via WW or is there another carrier that I might need to check? Does the 'in Transit' really only mean that I have been assigned to a carrier or boat and that AskMINI has no real control until it gets to a dock? The WW site is still saying they don't know anything about my VIN.

 

Just checked the WW site and found that my Baby has been discharged at the VPC in NY/NJ and AskMINI says estimated delivery is 3/22 but I have not heard anything from my MA. . I need to call him to get an update.

How am I going to sleep tonight?

 

If it makes you feel any better, I still have to have mine shipped to California

 

My MA says that my car will arrive at Charleston on the 23rd and he might even have it on the lot by the weekend!!!!!

I have confirmed that Wilhelmsen is stupid through my Mini dealer. Remember how I said that AskMini said my car was already en route when Wilhelsen said it was waiting to go out on the Terrier. Yeah, just talked to me sales guy today and he reconfirmed that my car is scheduled to be delivered to the dealer on April 2nd. I'm thinking that Mini knows where their cars are much better than Wilhelmsen. Remind me that if I ever need a car transported not to go through that company. On the other hand...our Coop will be here in 11 days!!!

 

Is anyone in this group have their MINI coming to or through Port Hueneme?

If so, what have you found regarding the shipping info. WW is not yet acknowleging the existance of my VIN.

 

The Wilhemsen site finally updated correctly! My Cooper is on the Integrity which is currently in Baltimore...so any of you who's cars were built on the 8th...well, you're prolly on the Integrity too...my Mini is so close I can just imagine motoring about in the Texas Hill Country!

 

To rameeti: When I called AskMini the 1st time, dude I talked to gave me the wrong last number on the VIN. Go to the Owner's Lounge on Mini's site and go to the "Your Mini" link near the top. Now you'll see a list of links to the left of a pic of a Mini. Click on "Service Log" and your VIN will show up on the next page.

 

So... who else is on the Terrier? I wonder what kind of friends my dark silver MINI is making... it better not be the kind with "candy"!

I wonder how long it'll take from Charleston to get to Orlando, Florida? Hmm...

My MINI was on the Integrity & is now at the Distribution Center. My MA called to schedule delivery - 4/1!

I second that. WW originally said I was on the Integrity, three days after Integrity sailed they said no,I was on the Terrier. Yesterday my MA said no, I was on the Integrity and he would have her ready for me next Wednesday. Today I go back to WW and lo and behold, they somehow took her off the Terrier and put her back on the Integrity, airlifted I guess...
Looks like I'm going to Atlanta next week

 

Well My MA called and they have my Baby but I won't be able to take delivery until Tuesday. Something about too many cars and not doing turnovers on Saturday because to busy .

Eitherway I went over to the dealer for other things and saw her sitting there!! He gave me the keys and I got to sit in it for a while. A tear came to my eye and I got all choked up. I can't wait. this will be a very long weekend for me!!

yesterday, WW said Gromit (wife renamed him) was discharged in Charleston and the Owner's Lounge and AskMini say the dealer will take delivery on the 28th!!!
I'll tell yah, the day we get him, the three of us (Gromit, me, my wife) are going to do some serious motoring around the Hill Country.

 

Now that our babys are starting to arrive, I just found in another forum that if the Owner's Lounge Order Details page isn't showing your order details, if you view the page source in your browser it sometimes has the details embedded in there even if the page is blank.

You have to sort throgh a little code garbage, but it's there, copy it into MS Word and you can clean it up with a little search and replace...
MY expected delivery date got moved up from 29th to 26th, too bad the dealer is closed tomorrow...

Congrats Wolfgang. Where do you live? It sounds like yours only took 3-4 days to get to you from the vehicle distribution center. Hopefully mine will be quick like that. I live in Orlando, Florida though, so it may be different.

 

We live in San Antonio, TX...took less than a week for him to get here from Charleston

 

Oh wow. Then it should be no problem for them to get my MINI to Florida. Woohoo! If the boat docks today like its scheduled too, does anyone think I might see it before the end of March? There's only 4 days left, but if it goes as quick as yours....it's very possible.

 

We're picking Gromit up at 3 PM tomorrow afternoon!
