Decal warning to newbies

Be careful when applying your NAM.com Decals. I thought 50 degrees would be warm enough to apply my decal to MIB. It held nicely. Had the first real snow here in Indy since we picked up MIB and while using a snow scraper to clear the ice and snow off came my NAM decal.

It almost ruined my night, but the drive back home from work was enjoyable enough to almost forget my nam Decal is off.

Oh Well have to order another one. And a WRR decal!

I doubt any decal is going to survive an ice scraper, no matter how warm
it is when it is applied. You just have to avoid scraping in the area where
the decal lives.

You use an ice scraper on your baby???? I was instructed to only apply warm, dry heating pads to any ice areas of concern (windows, door locks) and then to gently wipe away any subsequent moisture with soft towels. You know, you can't be too careful!!

Hmmm... Havn't had to de-ice the Mini yet, but forgot about being careful of my NAM decal.

It's kinda hard to apply warm, dry heating pads when there is no electricity in the Fed Ex parking lot at the Indianapolis Airport at 5 am!

MIB is a drive to work car for both MrsDiff and Myself.
