New to forums, but not Minis!
Hey all. I just registered after spending "way too many hours" (quote from the wifey
) reading the forums here. I don't have a new Mini, but hope to one day. However, I do have a 1971 Cooper that I imported about seven years ago from Wales.
Anyway, just wanted to make my first post and say Hi!

Classic?
Welcome. I have bought my second MINI. Would your Coop be considered a Classic? Here in Key West, there are a couple of Classic Coops, one of them even has the steering wheel on the right-hand side...neat and sweet. Flora Blue
Yeah, it is. Even insured with Hagerty classic car insurance. It is right hand drive and that's one of the best parts about it. Nothing like pulling into a fast food drive through and they hand you your food and then realise they handed it to the PASSENGER in the car!
I'm still building up the nerve to drive through backwards so that I can grab the food!
One day I'll learn how to post pics and put a few in my gallery.

Unfortunately,no. It's feeling a bit under the weather and my wallet is feeling a bit underweight!

Hey Donna, I love Oceanside. We used to go down to the dog beach with my two labs every time we were in town. They couldn't get enough of it! I'm jealous of you now. It just snowed again last night.Boooooo
No-o-o! I would love to take mine to a large empty parking lot that just got snowed over and go 'round and 'round and 'round and.....:impatient
...sorry, Earl, I guess I was having a "moment"; of course it's a Classic, what was I thinking? I just don't quick know that line...like how old does a car have to be when it's considered an antique? I don't know, but I do know that no matter how old the car, it's still a blast to drive. Ya know?
