Good luck with the wait, guys. I'm a week 4-er and (not so)patiently waiting myself.

I was told the price was put on the car when it was released to the dealer from the port. The dealer told me mine was received at the dealership on the 1st so I'm hoping it was stickered the day before. I need to get a copy of the purchase order for the credit union faxed to me tomorrow so I guess I'll find out then.
I won't be able to pick the car up until March 18th since I'm out of town unitil then. I think I'll be the last of the week 5'ers to pick up my car.

Are you a west coaster too Mini Pony? My car hit the CA dock on 2/28 so I guess I'll be the first to contribute that free money to BMW, if any. Stay tuned.
Where is patgoeglein? he's supposed to take delivery today, did he miss the flight?

I'm actually on the east coast - philly area. My car got to NY on the 23rd but took a week to get to the dealer, although the OL said expected delivery to the delaer was the 26th. I hope there is no price increase. I ordered a Hot Orange convertible so that may give me a little negotiating room on the $500. I love it but it is not the most popular color. I have looked around and there are similar cars to mine at other dealers, on the lot.
Waiting
I have been in and out of the hospital trying to take care of my wife and baby.
I would love to pick them both up from the hospital in my S but no word from my MA.
We have snow today in Vancouver. I am praying it melts for delivery.
I should sneak over there and see if I can crawl over the fence.
How is everyone doing?

Keeler MINI did everything, swapped the a/s tires over to the R90s and we put the S-lites in the orig R90 boxes and the aero front spoiler was painted and mounted and all ready to go for the drive home. All the spares fit nicely in the S6... The Cooper S was ready to motor right when we got there. The "spy" shot [nice BTW...] courtesy of my MA @ Keeler was necessary for me in my quest to obtain as many details as possible when purchasing this MINI Cooper S.
I've updated a little more detail to my driving experiences (from 175 to 230 miles so far) here >
http://www.tsrennsport.com/weblog/?p=112
and... added to my BBS R90 rim detail page here >>
http://www.tsrennsport.com/weblog/?p=100
If you have the time, the amount of information and factory BMW MINI Challenge Club Sport info I report on is quite extensive >>
http://www.tsrennsport.com/weblog/
and there is a PDF file (in German) on this MINI Challenge Club Sport R53 page >>

When I took one of my fresh unmounted S-lites out of the R90 box there is a Ronal logo printed on the rim. And when I looked at the inside of the OE front bumper cover (got to keep this too - garage fodder?) there is a build sticker on it with dates and signatures and stamps - factory kewl details. I'll take a photos of these. Good stuff.
Yes, driving Vermont roads in the fall is nice. Great driving around here. Right now the roads are like a rallye stage on the Monte - frost heaves, pot holes, bumps and loose gravel everywhere. Today it's raining heavily and I'll give these a/s Goodyear RS-A's a workout. Everyday I drive this S, everything gets better and smoother with it
ps: one word of caution, ask (no plead) with your MA and dealer staff to NOT fold or really touch the window sticker printed side if you are in any way concerned about retaining the typography on it!!!!! They are made with an almost tyvek type of paper and laser printed info onto this. When folded (mine was folded into 1/4s and stuffed into my glovebox...ouch! ) it just flakes off. Major let down on the data collection side. Anyway, the driving experience well makes up for this trivial pet peave item.

Cora Schumacher looks sweet too.
. . .
ditto on your point about the original window sticker Thompson. It IS one frail document. You almost need white gloves and an archivist's degree to handle it. I was a bit dumbfounded what was on my fingertips until I realized it was the type coming off in large chunks!
It's now residing in a protective sleeve.

I'm going to cold laminate my window sticker - should be good for at least 100+ years!
Thompson, cool blog. Now show us more photos of your RSport package stuff, especially the installation process. I may consider ordering one
Two sleepless nights to go, woohoo! The weather doesn't look encouraging though.

Saakey, thanks! Congrats on your ride BTW, too. I bet you're feeling good. Yes, my trusty S6 has been a great car - goes and stops like stink.
All my photos are taken with a Fuji FinePix S5000 set on 6MP, which is interpolated up. I knocked all of these down to a respectible 980 pixels wide to post. (originals are 2816 x 2120 >> example ) Fuji uses their special Super CCD which is 8-sided (instead of six) to capture images. Very nice camera.

Very nice..I'm a huge Audi fan...I almost bought the A3, but we currently have a black '97 A6 Avant and an '04 A6 S-line (some pics in my gallery)...having a 3rd Audi I thought would have looked a bit excessive
..besides I've always wanted a MINI.

1. Are you guys concerned about having the rear yellow UK plate included or not?
2. I like the black checkered mirror caps and multi-colored top just as it is.

] Audi quattro. I've gone though; 1 S4, 1 A4, 2 ur-quattros, 1 90 20v, 2 5000CS's, and 1 200 Avant. The 20v turbo S6 is old school but nice. Now for more loopage...
I've owned four Porsches, 1 E30 M3, 2 Toy 4WDs, and gewad knows what else... I NEVER once considered any other marque when looking - I just bought the Cooper S. I KNEW it was going to be the bees knees.

1. Do you have one that will work with the black roof or will that come later?
Thanks

3. Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb" - The Wall

5. David Gilmour - "Raise My Rent" - David Gilmour
6. Elvis v. JXL "A Little Less Conversation"
7. Peter Tosh "Mama Africa" - Mama Africa

9. Peter Gabriel "Sky Blue" - Up
10. Erasure "Blue Savannah"
11. Roxy Music "Avalon" - Avalon
12. Journey "Hustler" - Next (might be a little harsh for ya but I bet your Cooper will love to be spanked with this playing!)

I phoned to check up on my S, the rail company has not released it yet. My MA will be trying to light a fire under their a%@ to get it moving.
It's been here for 4 days already sitting at the rail yard.

Finally!
I brought my baby home, after 400 miles of driving, checking out beautiful big sur in total darkness
, and ploding through some downpour.
I fell really tired at this point, need to catch some sleep, more pics later.

What color is that?

Got purple?

Ready to roll!
