Not the first yet, but get the feeling I might be . Mods I have sitting in my closet are, m7 springs, Alta rear sway bar, slotted front and rear discs with braided brakes lines.... so far

 

Is a rear sway bar needed when I have the JCW package, or does the JCW suspension do enough? oh yea,,,,, where is my Betty?

 

I have been following a few threads on the mushroom effect with Mini's lowered on 18's. M7 has a few products to help prevent the damage.
I am wondering why the JCW Mini does not have additional support if this is a true weakness in the car.
Are people beating the s*** out of their mini's or what?!

 

My mini is on the Don Pasquale. Has anyone seen an update on the position after the docking in Brunswick GA? I havent seen any after 2/15.

I'm not 100% sure on this one...but I don't think the sway bar is any different on the Works cars...in which case, one would help for sure.

I'm scheduled to pick mine up Friday morning! They have to put on the side stripes, the rear bumper protector and the clear bra and I'll be ready to motor!

I hadn't looked at Owners Lounge order tracking in a while, but today it says under Review Order Detail "Estimated Delivery Date: 2/28/2006." Yay! The Ingolstadt should port in Charleston tomorrow and hopefully Toby'll get through the VPC with haste to meet that date. I might still beat the $500 increase *knock on wood*

 

I have been trying to get an update on my S since they unloaded it in Halifax. No luck.
The MA can't tell if it still sits on the port or if it has been loaded on a rail car. A few days and I should have a more solid delivery date.
Til then, prep the garage.

I thought I posted this some time ago. My first post I think, could've put it in the wrong place.

 

Isn't the price put on the car when it gets into port? So all cars arriving in the USA before March don't have the $500?
