Alright, where are those obsessive Integrity trackers? Has it made it in to the SC port yet? Cars being unloaded?
I'm sitting here trying very hard to be patient. The Integrity is still in Charleston according to W&W site...but one voyage report shows her leaving Chas today and one shows tommorrow. My MA says my car should be available for me to pick up next Friday 2/24...but I'm not so sure. I'll just keep my fingers crossed!

MINI USA shows it still enroute, but when I review order details, everything is gone but in place is "expected delivery 2/24/2006! I hope!

W&W now shows that the Integrity has departed Charleston. I hope my MINI is now on US soil...and no soil is on her!

Today I took my wife by the dealership to see the new Mini. My MA informed me that they had to send the ECU out to have the GIAC flash done. Unfortunately, this means that I won't be able to drive it away until next Friday. The good news is that at least now I know exactly when it will be all mine.

Order, production and delivery

My newly born Pure Silver, Black Bonnet Striped MCS was a breeze to get, really, sorry to say. It went into production Jan. 8th and delivered Feb. 13th. I don't know exactly when the January plant closure occured, but it had little to do with the non excistent production delay. The MINI Tracking feature was a great friend to have. I knew where my baby was every step of the way. I've had to wait for many things in my life, but my MCS had the most rewarding ending out of the lot.

Motor on MINI heads.

It's President's Day and our Mini's are arriving in California, at least we think they are given the lack of ship tracking. I hope the dock workers don't have the day off! I want my Mini!!!!!

I am definitely with you Hooligan620. The wait now that there is light at the end of the tunnel is making it difficult to concentrate. My third bay in the garage is all ready to accept my new MINI.

My guess is that the dock workers are happy to get overtime to unload our cars today. I can't see an international cargo vessel staying in the USA for an extra day to observe the holiday.

I will bet that the VPC won't be processing any cars today, however. I'll our cars will sit in line until tomorrow AM. No cuts!

Who else is waiting for a Port Hueneme car?

I will be too!

My MA says they'll have the clear bra, the rear bumper protector and the side stripes on and she'll be waiting on me Friday morning!

I have a new 10-22mm ultra wide angle lens for my Canon DSLR I can't wait to try out on my new MINI. I'll post pics asap!

I'm off to see the (MINI) wizard!

Mini

Well, We picked ours up in Kansas City on Friday the 17th. I finally have access to the internet soo I can share some photos. We are absolutely loving the car. Only thing I wish we would have added on was the anthracite headliner. Ohhh well. I am a driver of a 97' Integra Type R and can tell you I'm definitely jealous of my wife's car. These cars would be a drivers race on a roadcourse and there is no doubt in my mind that a JCW would kill the ITR.

Here's our 06 PW/B, Sport Pkg, LSD, Aero Kit, Carbon fiber look rear panels, 35% tint, Multi-function steering wheel, Foglight blackout panels, rear foglight.

mmmkay Integrity-ers... where do we stand??

I havent talked to my new MA since the news that Julie left. I called him this morning but he wasnt coming in until 1. I'm going to call in just a few minutes and see what my ETA is.

I broke down and bought the 2nd half of the aero kit... hehe I originally didn't want the front & rear bumpers so I just bought the side skirts & trim that was for sale in the marketplace. After I realized that there are two pieces of black trim that I'd still have to paint, I went ahead and got the rest of the pieces (front & rear bumper, aero grill & engine cover). The parts sitting in my garage are making me more antsy.

My new MA is Mike K. I was on the Integrity and am going to Classic as well. Mike said I have an ETA of 2/25 at Classic. I would think yours should be the same (maybe they'll be riding on the same truck). I have quite a few extras and am coming from out of state so have a scheduled delivery date of 3/4.

Congrats, sharp looking MINI - PW is starting to grow on me!

Wharf_rat and Stepanie - almost there, I know the last few days before delivery seem like the longest. Don't forget the pictures! I have a couple more pics of Emma and also one of Emma and Twiggy side by side in my gallery. I've really been enjoying driving Emma to work the last two days - much more enjoyable than the Subaru.

Wahoo! I don't know if they keep the cars on site when doing installs but I may have to have you whisper sweet nothings in my baby's ear for me.

I'm actually doing pretty well. The end is in sight. Rhawth99, what kind of Subaru were you driving? My MINI is replacing a highly modded WRX and my wife has an '05 Outback XT Ltd wagon.
