My wife thinks I should respond right now and mark everything "N/A" or "I don't know".
Actually that is not the survey your MA talks about. You wont get that until you actually sign the paperwork for the car. This must be another survey from mini. If your MA has done everything they've said they would do then "5's" would be appropriate. Having someone on the inside will help if/when you have issues in the future.

westward ho Integrity

Integrity's starting to show up on the sailwx.info site now. I'd tell you how to find it but if you're on board her like me, you've got just a little time to kill - so get crackin'!

Pretty soon we'll be talking about taking delivery, first trips and what aftermarket goodies we'll be adding! I just wish our ships would come in...

Anybody know exactly what the "Estimated Delivery Date" on the MINI order status tracking page from the website means? Is this the date the car will be delivered to your dealer or the date when it is available for you to pick it up? I noticed yesterday that my MINI is showing a 2/15/2006 Estimated Delivery Date and I was trying to figure out if I should be planning my day around that

I believe that the Estimated Delivery Date is the day on which your dealer is expected to take delivery. Then it depends on what has to be done to it to meet the specifications of your order. My date is the same as yours, but I don't expect to be driving it until at least Feb. 20

I believe that the Estimated Delivery date is the date that your Dealer receives the car. The reason I believe this is that my MINI was unloaded in South carolina This weekend (Saturday the 4th). My MA told me it would be getting on a truck and headed for Kansas City tomorrow (Tuesday the 7th). She said it would take about 4 days and my estimated delivery date is the 10th which puts it right at 4 days. We are planning on picking ours up on Friday the 17th.

Once it makes it to the dealer it will get:

*Aero Kit w/ foglight blackout panels and carbon fiber look rear panels (looks much better than the fake aluminum decals that come with the kit).

and

*35% tint all around

Man I can't wait!!! We'll all be motoring soon

Is there anyone on this thread who is NOT on a vessel?

Just wondering ...

In any case, my VIN has now disappeared completely from the WW website.

I actually take this as a good sign, however. Once Stevie (I am leaning towards that name) did not make it on to the Integrity as scheduled, I immediately started checking the K Line site. There is a vessel called Ingolstadt which departed from Southampton overnight, and I am hoping Stevie is on that.

I have an e-mail into my MA to see if he can start investigating through the super secret dealer system to see what has happened to my dear car.

If it's the Ingolstadt, this would actually be better news, since it is supposed to arrive in Charleston one day ahead of the Integrity (the Ingolstadt does not stop in Halifax or New York / Newark).

Keeping my fingers crossed ...

Waiting sucks, but it's no excuse to not have any action on this thread since 9:02am yesterday

I love the Tartan Red interior. I almost regret not getting it instead of the gray leatherette. I just couldn't commit to it with the Purple Haze without seeing it in person. It should look fabulous with the Pepper White.

I can't believe that some of you guys will be picking your cars up in the next week or so. It seems like we've been waiting soo long! Anyone have their delivery officially scheduled??

Mine too. I was also scheduled for Integrity but did not make it on. I emailed my MA the day that Integrity sailed to see if he knew anything and he said it was still at the port. I emailed him again today and told him to let me know as soon as he has shipping info. :-/ I hope Toby is on a boat already.

You're right, Sam. The Boheme is currently passing the outer part of the Gulf of St. Lawrence as it approaches it's first stop on 2/8 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Years ago, my wife and I took a ferry there from Portland, ME, drove the length of the island and camped out in Cape Breton National Park. I've never seen the Milky Way as expansive, bright and clear in the night sky. Brightly painted houses and rocky shorelines dot the landscape.....adding to a quietly unique flavor. There are now eighteen red dots plotting the course of my ship toward it's destination, Newark on 2/10. It's expected to be at the dealer by 2/15. I'd love to be motoring by 2/20....or so.

That is the same date showing as an estimated delivery date for my Emma (going to Princeton, NJ). I just sent an email to my MA to check on the validity of the date although I don't expect a reply until tomorrow (today is my MA's day off). I too have been following the dots across the ocean. I noticed that the Liberty is two days late getting to Port Newark (NYC) from the original schedule so we aren't very far behind.

I discovered this after my ship passed through Halifax but there is a link out there somewhere (search under Port of Halifax) to a REAL TIME Internet video feed (updated every 2 seconds) from a camera overlook Halifax harbor !!!

Now the auto terminal is to the NE in the Harbor but I think that all ships have to pass by this camera.

Might be fun to see you ship steaming into its first North American port...

Bill

Here is a Halifax webcam view of the harbor:
http://www.halifaxwebcam.ca/

It has an adjustable refresh time. Wish I knew what time the Boheme is scheduled to enter the harbor.

I spent a long time configuring my build before finally sending it out to my MA. I didn't want to change anything after the order was submitted, in case anything went wrong ...

The Tartan Red, with the Seven dash, and interior chrome is gonna look sooo awesome!!!

I think I'm a couple of weeks away from delivery

Trying to find the Franconia on sailwx.info, and I see the Liberty very very close to shore!!

I was getting antsy, so I called K-Line. They were able to track the shipment using my Bill of Lading number. The Franconia was originally supposed to go into Baltimore on 2/8, and then Charleston on 2/10. Instead it's gonna be in Charleston tomorrow!! Apparently, they ran into some bad weather, so did some switching around.

I hope my Cooper didn't get tossed around in the waves

How did you obtain your K-Line Bill of Lading number?

Was it the same as the WW Booking Number? Or something else, and if so, how can I figure out what mine is?

Many thanks in advance!

My baby is on the Integrity and should get to Classic around 2/24. I am tentatively going to fly in to Cleveland on 3/3 for delivery on Sat. 3/4. My MA sent me the programming choices (remote function options, etc.) so it is starting to feel like a reality more and more. Wahoo!

SweetTea,
My MA gave me all my shipping info. It was through him that I found out that I wasn't on a WW vessel. They have access to an internal tracking system which has all the shipping info by VIN

Finally chatted with Long Beach MINI just now. They called me to get my key programming preferences. I guess they don't pay attention to the email form that MINIUSA sends. Silly.

The Double-Secret-Dealer-Tracking-System(tm) has an arrival date of 2/20. With the standard "3 to 10 business days" before the dealer has it. Holy Crap! That's under 3 weeks from now! (How's that for optimisitic?)

I guess I should figure out how to pay for the car now, huh. MINI Financing is at 7.4% for 5 years. I think I need to do some rate shopping.

I got CapitalOne for 6.0%. If you have a Credit Union, their rates are supposed to be really good. bankrate.com is also helpful.

I should check Capital One. Did you apply online?
I have excellent credit and Chase offered me 6.6%. Definitely beats BMW financing rates, but not as good as 6.0

Yes, I applied online. Quick response, less than 5 minutes. My credit score is pretty good.
