I liked that, and soooo true.

Never tracked my wife's car - I think this is more stressful waiting out each step.

Yeah, I've been checking their site for the last couple of days, I'm still at:
"No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered"

This is the hardest part. at least while it was being built we had regular updates... now our babies will be at sea sipping mimosas while we bite our nails with little word but a gps induced dot on a map

I feel bad because I thought a lot of you would make Fridays boat last week. I somehow lucked out and made Wednesdays boat last week and my car is scheduled to arrive in South Carolina on the 4th. Then on a truck to K.C., installation of the Aero kit, tint and we pick her up on Saturday the 18th.

Hope you all make it on a boat soon.

Congrats Larkin! Looks like you'll be the first Week 4-er to get their baby.

I can't believe we KNEW someone on the Liberty yet no one was on it! What are the odds???

Thanks! I'm surprised that no one else on here is on the Maersk tide with me. I'm happy we got on that boat though because it makes less stops than most boats and makes it to South Carolina in 10 days, Most take 12 to 14 days.

Anyone progress to getting booked yet? Seems like your cars should be at the port and have acknowledgements from the shipping company by now. I never could find any information about the Liberty but have dug up information showing that the Boheme holds almost 7200 cars. The Boheme is somewhere between Sweden and Belgium now (stops at ZEEBRUGGE on 1/31 before heading for Southampton). Emma wants some company from her week 4 friends - she is lonely sitting amongst all of the strangers.

Same here. I'm thinking later today or tomorrow we'll all get 'checked in' for the Boheme (east coast folks). The glass is half full dagnabbit.

I hoping my Mini, Mimi will catch the Don Carlos out of Southhampton tomorrow. Although she has enjoyed her stay in the UK, Mimi is looking forward to being at home. She has a couple of stops to visit friends first, one in California and another in Salt Lake City, before coming home to Seattle.

Hooligan620,

I too am hoping that my MINI makes the DON CARLOS tomorrow! Mine has several stops as well finishing very near you in Kent. Maybe if both our vehicles make the same ship we should reunite them as some point.

I'm crossing my fingers to make the DON CARLOS.

Shane

Strange. I finished production on Friday and the next day the Wallenius web site indicated that I had been booked on the Boheme at 12:24 and received at the terminal at 13:44 on Saturday (28/01/2006). Did you enter the entire VIN# where it asks for Cargo ID?

Yes I entered the entire VIN, but alas no go. I wondering if the DON CARLOS is already full and mine is simply waiting for the next boat. I hope not, but it is not looking too good so far.

Maybe my MINI is just a little fiesty and they are having trouble corraling her.

I noticed the Don Carlos came from Sweden with stops in Belgium and Germany. I hope our Minis are not displaced by Volvos, Saabs and VWs. I don't know if I can wait another five days for the next boat. Fingershooter yes a reunion is a must!

Anyone been confirmed or booked on the DON CARLOS? It is looking like I might not make this boat.

According to the Southampton port the DON CARLOS is scheduled to leave at 14:00 today, which is about an hour and a half away from right now. So I am hoping WW's website is simply not up to date.

Gosh Stefanie, Grimace must have really been nasty to someone - or else he has decided to tour the English countryside. Did you ever figure out what port Grimace would be getting off at?

He's so sassy. He's not even here and he's already being difficult

Not sure about the port. A friend of mine bought one of the first 06's and he said his was on a ship that stopped in New York and then went to SC. Seems to me that NY would be closer though. He also wasn't even on a WW ship so he couldnt track his! eeeek! Imagine that!

fingershooter - if you don't make the Don Carlos (keeping my fingers crossed that you do!) then what is the next ship??

Bon Voyage Boheme

Well, after four days "in the body shop" with no status change, suddenly this morning I'm "at the port". Checking my VIN on the WW site indicates that I'm both "booked" and "received at terminal" and am now awaiting loadup on the Boheme. It appears that her voyage has been bumped back a day to tomorrow, 2/1 with a NYC arrival date of Friday 2/10.

Stand by with the bubbly and streamers, we're about to Cast Off!!!!!

The next ship leaving for the west coast is the DON PASQUALE which departs on 2/4. So if I don't make the DON CARLOS, which leaves in about 15 minutes then I hopefully should make the DON PASQUALE.
