Wow lots of cool info!

As a newbie I would like to say "Howdy from Austin TX"! I bought an 03 MCS-DS w/MR a few months ago and am having a blast driving it. Lots of curvy roads in Central TX to drive. This is the best site of all those I have visited for info, a good combo of new Mini owners and "old timers" willing to teach us the ropes.

I have named my MCS "Jack B Nimble", Jack for short (wasn't hard to guess I am sure)

Hope to see some other owners on the road, till then happy motoring!

Welcome to NAM, nuke-kitty! I think your username is HOT! There are plenty of MINIers in Tejas, so get motorin' with them! Visit the regional forums here, to see what's happening in your neck of the woods!

A big 'ole Texas welcome to you! I just joined the MINI clan this past Saturday myself with the delivery of my '06 MCS.

The gadgetMobile is an '06 MCS in DS/B with black bonnet stripes and lapis blue/black leather interior (with blue carpeting!).

We'll be seeing you around town, I'm sure.

Sorry to post & run!

Well I signed up then had to have shoulder surgery so I disappeared! Thanks for the welcome, typing will be a chore for a few weeks but am not in so much pain now and will try to check back more often. I will check the regional section as suggested. Won't be driving Jack until I get out of the sling, my hubby is sure happy to do so though! As for explaining the screen name..we have to explain those things?! See y'all around!

I have a broken RIGHT foot. I understand your pain about not being able to drive the MINI. Mine is a bit easier to take as MIB isn't scheduled to be built untill November 7th at the earliest.

I broke my right leg last November, snuck my M3 out a couple of times while I was still non-weight bearing...thankfully nothing happened but it wasn't very smart on my part. Basically I didn't drive for 3 months, it sucked.
