Production Week 44 Support Group - 10/31 to 11/4
I've been troubled by this as well, but I suspect everything is completely normal.
Ah wait.... my wife is reporting that the Owner's Lounge is giving us an estimated delivery date of 12/19. Considering that I'll be out of town from the 20th to the 28th this probably means I'll be picking it up on the 29th. I hope my MINI will be safe sitting on the lot at the dealership!

I just checked the OL and mine is supposed be delivered on the 16th too! I hope it happens because I've already got plane tickets purchased to fly down to pick it up.
If the planets align just perfectly this will all work out.

So apparently 17 of you South Bay MINIs are in front of me for Pre-Delivery Inspection. Hmph. Earliest I can get it is tomorrow...
My MA has been so nice that if I don't get my MINI by tomorrow, I think I'll be just fine with taking delivery during the week when I don't have work. But that doesn't mean I don't want it by tomorrow.

South Bay MINI ROCKS!
OK guys and gals here's my story...
I haven't posted in a few days because I had to fly down to South Bay MINI to take delivery of Milton on Friday! It's been a crazy weekend. On Friday I got up at 3:00am (after having gone to bed at 12:30) to make it to the airport by 5:00am for a 6:00 flight. My partner and I flew out of Arcata Airport (near Eureka) and landed in Redding for a short stop to pick up more passengers. We then flew on to LAX and arrived around 9:00am. Chris, my co-MA (it's a long story), picked us up at the airport and we got to SB MINI at around 10am.
At this point the car had not yet arrived. We waited around for awhile just killing time until the delivery truck unexpectedly showed up a few hours early. I got to see Milton arrive still loaded on the delivery truck! OK, long story short, we left SB MINI with the car at about 4:30pm and drove North for a few hours (fighting traffic on the 405 and 101) up to SLO. Stayed the night there and then on Saturday drove the rest of the way home to Eureka so I could make it to work today at 7am. Whew!:impatient
When we took delivery the car had 13 miles on it, when we arrived home the odo read 755 miles. Chirs and Jennifer at South Bay MINI really came through for me because I only had a narrow window where I could get down to LA to pick up the car. Over and out for now, sorry for the long post...

I will have to second that South Bay MINI is amazing.
Just picked up my baby today and I haven't had a more pleasant driving experience than this one. The shifting is so quick... then again, I haven't really had much experience with other cars. I still don't know how to use half of the things inside, especially the navigation. Motoring first, reading manuals later!
I'm way too tired to post pictures, so those will come later. I hope the delivery process is going just as wonderful for the rest of you West-Coasters.

The estimated delivery on my car was listed as yesterday but MINI owners lounge still says that my car is at the distribution center. I really want it to show up this week because I leaving for the week between Christmas and New Years.
The Owner's Lounge says that my MINI is still at the distribution center, but my MA called and said that he should be taking delivery tomorrow. We've set up an appointment for 12/29 to pick it up!
I'd pick it up sooner, but I will be out of town.

Tonight, I came back from a pretty bad day at work. Then, sitting in the driveway, I see a cute little MINI all covered up in its car cover. Needless to say, that immediately brightened up my day.
As promised, the pictures...
1) I love the fact that the back seats have a little cubby space.
2) Oh the navigation looks awesome, but I have no idea what to do with it!
3) My MA with my MINI! He was awesome!

More pictures...
1) I'm really in love with the sunroof...
2) From behind!
3) If you ever see a PW/B MC with a big-grinned girl behind the wheel... SAY HI! I can't wait to get my first MINI wave!
Sorry I don't have anymore exterior pictures... I really wasn't thinking on Sunday!

My MINI arrived in Portland and I am picking it up on Friday after the Sirius and Invisishield are installed. Then I get to take it on my Christmas adventure. I just sucks that you can't see what it is really made of for the first 500 or so miles.
