I finally got a hold of my MA today and he said it should be arriving on the 7th at the dealership. How soon do you think i'll be able to take it home?

Well, how cool, the Tosca is in the Pacific! SAIL FASTER!!!

 

Picked mine up yesterday ... the name is "Bing" ... MCS PH/S ... it was even fun driving in stop and go freeway driving

 

according to the new update it still hasn't gone through the channel yet and is still on the other side. BAHH!

Oops, I see what you mean, the Tosca's not in the Pacific yet. I just checked the tracking site and it's still wait in line to go through.

 

I finally decided on a name for my MINI MCSC/JCW. Jessica! Named of course after Jessica Rabit. She was drawn bad, and my Jessica is truly bad ***!

I did all the paper work today. I'll pick her up on Tuesday after the weekend. To much going on here to take it before hand. I still haven't driven her yet but she's here and technically I think she's already mine since I'm paying insurance for her now!

Congrats!! I'm so happy for you! 635 is just tons of fun these days, isn't it? I've found ways to avoid 75 and 635 all together. Since I work close to downtown Dallas and live north of the loop, I usually drive out by White Rock lake and play on all the curvy/twisty roads.

How do you like Bing? How did you come up with the name????

I know that dealership, too I picked mine up Tuesday and they were stacking them deep in the showroom and said they had a lot of deliveries scheduled. Rec'd something like 30 cars in a week

Anyway - I'm curious about the questions PJ asked, too. I'm in Plano. My MA was Jeff Miller, and I will probably join the metroplexmini group soon.

Alright, any map updates on the Tosca?

 

The tosca has made it through the gatum locks and is heading to the pacific. right now the boat is resting a bit. We can only hope the boat is still on schedule for delivery on wensday

 

The tosca is now in the pedro miguel locks. Basically in the pacific We are still hoping for delivery next wensday.

 

OOH GOD, guess what I just got in the mail today? My brand new Whalen Shift ****. OMG! OMG! anyone using that stock POS needs to think twice. I didn't realize how nice of a shift **** it is. I will post pictures later when I get a chance. That stock one is getting taken off AS SOON AS I GET TO THE DEALER!

 

UPDATE. THE TOSCA IS NOW OUT OF PANAMA AND IS IN THE PACIFIC. LOOKS LIKE SHE WILL BE HALLING BUTT UP HERE CROSS YOUR FINGERS!

 

WOW. You're really preparing ahead of time. I was almost thinking of getting one but can't decide on a design or if I really need it. I think I do need it, but I'm going to hold off for just a little while longer.

I can't believe it took the Tosca so long to clear out of Panama. It needs sail on turbo now.

 

Well with all the superchargers in our minis she should be sailing fast now .
