Possible confirmation of above. I just talked to my MA at South Bay MINI and she said that the Tosca arrived at the port on the 6th!

I usually keep the plate and the bracket in the back of the car, so I can tell the officer. Yes they were on back order I just had picked it up this morning and am going to install it

Darn, I was hoping I wouldn't have to get the camera out till this weekend . This the shifter is sitting in the back of my X3 awaiting it's trip down to southern california tomarrow. Along with the Alarm, cg-lock a S2K antenna. Once I get to my hotel I'll take a picture ..

You could also let them know if you wanted any of the programmable options on the car changed (ie, doors autolocking, daytime running lights, time for headlights to remain on after you shut the engine off, etc.) There's a sticky thread listing all of the dealer programmable options on this forum or on mini2 somewhere.

 

The time has come. Well almost I'll be picking up my car tomorrow afternoon . It's been a long wait, and just being able to drive back home in a vehicle that took two long months to wait for. I'd have to say it was worth it! I'll have pics up as soon as I get back from Assael.
