Current status:

Financing all worked out...check
Insurance policy...check
Plane tickets for flight to dealership...check
Two days off work for flight down to So Cal and drive back to Nor Cal...check
Phone call from my MA saying we're on for a Friday pickup...Not Yet!

I hope my car clears the processing center and is delivered to the dealership before Friday or I'm screwed.

How long does it take to unload all of the cars off of the boat? Maybe they haven't finished unloading yet.

Btw, my status still enroute. :impatient

Ya, I know. It is wierd how he got his car so fast. Maybe his was one of the last loaded onto the ship and thus the first off. But I'm just guessing at how this loading and unloading thing works. My car was at the port for 12 days before it was loaded onto a ship.

As I recall mine barely made it to the port in time to be loaded on to the boat. So who knows if the order of loading has any bearing on the time at the processing center. It may have more to do with the carrier that brings the cars to each individual dealer. It's all speculation at this point, but then I guess that just adds more fuel to the anticipation fire.

Welcome, what dealership did you order from (I'm picking up from South Bay MINI in Torrance)?

I wasn't able to ask if I was on the Tosca, so I'm not sure. There are a few things I need Assael to do tomorrow though. I'm missing a screw on my cup holder, and the bottom part of my dash seems like it wasn't put on right. I didn't see it through the walk through and didn't notice till a friend pointed it out. On Wednesday I'll be getting my lojack and ipod connector installed Saturday tint goes in. Pics will be up soon.

I sure hope 'Nigel' is here when I get back from Denver for Xmas. Dang - If I had it I'd be considering driving just to hook up with the MINI5280 group out there.

Yup. My Owner's Lounge says that my MINI is still EN ROUTE! No estimated delivery date, no nothing. But the Wallenius website now officially states that it was discharged from the vessel on the 9th.

Hurry hurry hurry!!!

I am on the Tosca. I talked to my MA today and she said that my car hasn't been unloaded yet. In fact out of the 25 cars the dealership has on the boat only 7 have been unloaded. This doesn’t make sense. Has anybody else from Portland heard anything different?

Me too

I spoke with my MA he told me that my car had not come in because the ship was late. I told him that I was on the Tosca and was unloaded on 12-9-05 at 1550 hours according to the shiping company. It was news to him. He said that I should get my car in 7 days after it was unloaded. We will see.

Absolutely beautiful. (I'm a soon-to-be PW owner!) I'm so jealous.

The guys there were really nice. I highly recommend david church and russ folwer. I have been treated Extrtemely nicely by both

My owners lounge finally has a delivery date listed, Dec 18th. Is this a delivery date to the dealership or to myself.

From my Week 45 experience, it is the owner's estimated delivery date (not the dealership's).

My experience (I'm also in Week 45) is that it is closer to the dealer delivery date, as my EDD was 12/6 and it is now 12/14 and I still don't have my MINI. Needless to say, I think it is just an estimate.

I don't have anything listed for an estimated delivery date. How troubling.
