That's a very nice looking car! To me it looks like one of those colors that looks a bit different in every kind of light. That chrome package is wonderful too. I just love those chrome grilles. I hope your wife lets you drive it sometime. Oh yes, welcome from one newbie to another.

Looks like we need to start a Purple Haze/Silver Club! Our's has been waiting for us for 2 weeks but we'll pick it up on Friday!

It certainly is a color that looks different in different kinds of light. I'll have my wife post some pics of ours looking very purple!

Congrats on receiving your new MCS PH ! Sounds great ! I'm a soon to be 2006 MCS JCW Space Blue (solid color) ower myself (if BMI ever get the JCW models in production). This was to be the production week for my 2006 MCS, but I've been hearing rumblings that BMW MINI is having problems getting the JCW equipped models into production. I've also heard the production weeks for JCW equipped MCS' has been pushed back to week 42, 43, and maybe even back as far as week46 ! Man, that would suck.

Anyway, congrats on receiving your new MCS and enjoy. I hope to be sharing the thrill of driving mine soon !

I agree! Pink should have been an 06 option. With my luck (since I have one in production) it will be an 07 option...

 

This weekend's gonna be the first long trip for Solitaire.....Planning to go up north to New Hampshire...

Other than the 1 mile test-drive to make sure everything mechanical is OK (wifey's not that technically inclined as far as autos go......) and a sweeping 15 mile drive up through Bear Mountain , the remaining 100 miles have been all Wifey's.

She's so possessive...It's alwyas "MY Car", instead of "OUR CAR" :impatient. Huh!!!

Wait till it's time for the first wash.........
