FYI for all you soon to be owners on the Honor all minis on the Honor at NY have been "Discharged" as of 0800 this morning. Happy day to you all. Teal gets in tomorrow and personally will be rejoicing!!!!

RedDaisy, you have an EDD of 10/7. Did you get that date from your dealer. Mine is set to arrive in Charleston on the Teal on the 5th, my birthday , but I don't have any idea from there.

 

Good news for those on the Maersk Teal. WW shows the Maersk Teal has arrived and departed New York today, the 30th, instead of the 1st. This puts it one day ahead of schedule.

 

I got the EDD right off of the owners lounge a few days ago. you might get it just before the ship gets to NC.

 

I'm on the Teal, which is a couple days behind you. I'm in Rochester, MN, so if you see a SB/S MCS 'fresh in' when you are picking up, let me know how it looks! My MA is Sarah B.

 

Whoo hoo... I am also showing the car as being "discharged" at 8am today (from the Honor). Anyone know where the distribution center is and how long it takes to get there from the port?

You were right, RedDaisy. Mine now shows an EDD of 10/12 on the OL.

 

And I finally got an EDD of 10/13. Things are happening now! Woot!

 

Mine now shows a EDD of 10/14 - must take a little longer to get up to Minnesota!

 

Has anyone shown up "at distribution center?"

 

Mine still shows enroute - I'm on the Emden, arriving in Charleston. I noticed that the Port scheudule now shows the Emden arriving on schedule on the 4th, instead of a day early

Oh well - should be less than two weeks left!

 

Does anybody know where the Emden is? Last location was posted on October 1 at 1800 hours. :smile:

Yes, although it may take a while for it to show up. Mine didn't show up until about 9 days before estimated delivery.

 

My OL is still showing EnRoute. Called Ask mini and the automated line is saying that my car is at the dock awaiting a shipping vessel. spoke with a live person and they said that my car is still at the dock in England but I know that that is not true. I think that it is waiting at the dock for the VPC. Also my MA said that it has been off the ship since the 30th and that I might not get it until next week because there are 2 other cars at the VPC that have been sitting there waiting to come to Richmond and they should be here this weekend. I am praying that the 2 cars are waiting for mine and that I will get it this weekend. TTFN

 

The OL shows my car as "en route" with an EDD of 10/5. Wonder what is going on, hopefully just a delay in updating the OL.

 

The OL was 3 days behind for me and my EDD was 10/3. I'm guessing EDD is the date the car gets to the dealer. (My dealer was expecting the car 10/3 or 10/4.) So, with an EDD of 10/5, I'd be expected "en route" to change to "at the VDC" any minute now.

I, too, am hoping for me to be driving no later than this weekend.

 

OL now indicates the EDD as Oct. 14.

 

I have no EDD because the mini webmaster (or my dealer!?!?!?) hates me.

 

Car is finnaly showing up at dist. center. Good thing since it should be delivered tomorrow.

It got off the boat on Saturday (10/1), got to the dealer (from Port of NY/NJ to Westchester MINI) on 10/4, and my dealer said I could have it 10/6. (I can't get it until the 10/7 due to a too busy schedule.)

They quizzed me on what memory settings I would like and verified the cost.

I hope there are no nasty surprises.

 

For those of you with vehicles going to South Carolina, the Emden arrived yesterday at Charleston around 4 in the afternoon and is already on its way back. Vehicles should be at VPC in a day or so.

 

I just received an e-mail from my MA stating that delivery was expected at the dealer on Oct. 10.
