The edd is lies all lies. The edd was today but the car will not show up at the dealership for another two days now, must be the driver got lost.

 

My car was unloaded from the Teal at 15:00, so one more step on the road to Minnesota is done.

 

I don't know if anyone else ordered the silver bonnet stripe, but my MA just told me they were backordered and might not be here with the car.

I thought maybe they were factory-applied, but it looks like they are a dealer prep thing, like the white and black ones.

 

I talked with my MA today and he said my MCS is scheduled for the VDC on the 8th. It should get to the dealer mid-week and unless I can think up a very good excuse for work, I'll have to wait until the following weekend to pick it up.

It's hard to think up an excuse when the day you return your in your new MINI.

 

Well the edd wasn't a lie, the other MA's were just clueless. I had called in to check on the car and was told it had not arrived yet (our MA was off). Turns out the car came in and we picked it up yesterday night.

 

Congratulations. Any pictures yet?

 

EDD indicates an Oct. 14 date; MA stated yesterday they anticipate receipt of the car at the dealership on Oct. 10 and should be available for my pick up on Oct. 11.

 

I have the same situation but ASKMini says they should be in by mid october.

 

I looked on the OL and it says 10/15 for me. So I called ASK MINI and the automated system said that it was at the port waiting for a boat!

I know better, so I talked to a live chick and she said it's on a truck on it's way from the VPC. How do their systems get so outta whack!?

I am picking my car up tomorrow! It came in on the Emden Tuesday and it is sitting at my dealer in Ga right now.:smile:

 

My dealer told me that the factory was not doing silver bonnet stripes until October production. My dealer agreed to put them on for the factory price of $100. But they still don't have them in stock yet: I got an IOU.

 

She's sweet: Hyper Blue with Silver roof.

It was my first time driving a stick so I sweat bullets in traffic from the dealer to my office. I only stalled once , entering my office garage, because the entrance requires a full stop (there's a gate) on a ramp.

The way home was better: I got to test the auto wipers and quite a few jerks cut in front of me and I did not crash.

The weather in NY is supposed to be terrible on Saturday (2 inches of rain), good for the grass, bad for practice driving.

 

My edd shows as Oct 14th, but my MA today said it is on a carrier from Charleston and scheduled to arrive at the dealership on Oct 9th! This is the second MINI I bought from her, so she said she would make sure it is the first one prepped for delivery!

Hopefully, I can get it on Monday or Tuesday

 

I may be able to pick up mine Wednesday. It's at the VDC and has moved from an EDD of the 12th to the 10th.

 

I had an EDD of 10/13, but when I checked tonight, it had been moved up to 10/11! Seems like this might be the week! Woo hoo!

 

Hmm... Does anyone know how long it takes after the East Coasters pick up their vehicles before for the West Coasters to get theirs, from the same productions week?

 

I haven't heard of how long. Maybe check another Production Week thread.

My MINI arrived at the dealership today so I should be able to pick it up Wednesday.

 

SB - Fantastic News. Congrats. You've been my benchmark throughout this - another BRG car ordered around the same time - so hopefully my EDD of 10/11 holds true.

 

My EDD was originally 10/15. I was out of town until late last night and when I checked this morning miniusa shows my vehicle at the VDC with an EDD of 10/9/05. What is going on?????????

 

The OL status is notoriously a few days behind schedule. If your EDD was 10/9, give your MA a call - they may have more up to date info.

My EDD was today, but my MA says she hasn't seen the vehicle yet. I am sure those dates are only good plus or minus a bit. It is, after all, the estimated delivery date.

 

Our S is in Minneapolis, but still waiting for the silver stripe. Sigh...might pick it up Friday anyway.

 

Well received word late yesterday that it's here. Hopefully it will be in my possession Friday or Saturday. Will still have to take it back to get the Bonnet Stripes Installed. I understand that Mini will not let dealer's order the bonnet stripes until the 15th (Saturday), that means the order doesn't go in until Monday the 17th and if the bonnet stripe is in stock, an overnight delivery, will get it to the dealer by the 18th or 19th. I'm not holding my breath. They said they would give me a loaner while they put on the stripes whenever they got here.

 

I got the call from my MA today. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon to pick it up. Can't wait to see the new English leather seat option. Woot! :impatient

 

 

My MA called and got my Key programmed today as my Mini is at the Port waiting to be unloaded!! whoo hoo!! 3-10 days, my wait will be over. I'm SO excited I can not contain myself!
