Rats! Missed the boat

Well the new MCSDT BRG/G rolled out of the factory, but ended up assigned to the AIDA for the pond crossing. #9 on the list (the car with the VIN just 1 lower than me is #1). AIDA doesn't leave Southampton until August 1st
Maybye I'll get lucky and they'll find room on an earlier boat.. Like LIBERTY or UNDINE that leave tomorrow?!

Well sccording to the tracking info I received, I missed 3 boats. What actually happened was I was put on another ship which was a different shipping line.
The tracking system didn't show the changes and the car arrived early...

Woa! I was unaware of MINI using another shipping line. I don't think I've seen that mentioned on the threads before. What line did they use?

Early

"Spike" arrived early too. They tell you it takes longer so you don't complain until it's really late . I know its hard to wait but just try to forget about it. Before you know it BAM... a phone call comes saying it's arrived and its smiles for days. Good luck

Mine and many others came in on the K-line shipping company... No tracking info from them.. But ASK-MINI confirmed this and my dealer had the detailed shipping information too...

Mostly two different things - you can either look up the schedules on the W&W site, OR wait for people like me who talk about which ship their MINI is traveling on.

Schedules page (you NEED to click on it twice):

Uh, how or what exactly did ASK-MINI say? They seem to indicate that they don't have much info once the MINI leaves the factory.

True, but they will have information on what ship line your new car is on.

As mentioned elsewhere, you can track to your hearts content (and whatever level of anxiety fits your style) through the WW site (genreally) the Coast Guard, etc...

Yeah - I'll call them next week. As for the tracking - tell me about it! My call sign hasn't shown up yet, even though the Undine has been traveling for a few days. I have to check every hour as the reporting system is voluntary : (

Right, but it doesn't show up in the Mediterranean Observation table.

http://oceanweather.com/data/Mediter...rine_text.html

Or have I been looking at the wrong region? because it doesn't show up here:

http://oceanweather.com/data/NATL-No...rine_text.html

and this site isn't showing any information on the Undine:

If the Undine doesn't show up on the observation table later in the week, then I'll positively go MAD (as in crazy), as if I weren't already :D
