What a Fathers Day

I posted a couple of weeks ago about a purchase of a Mini S . I currently own a 04 STI which I have put a ton of money in and use on the weekends. I was driving a 90 Honda CRX as my work car. The 120-180 mile drive a day was kicking that crap out of me. Yesterday I went to the local Mini dealer and they had at least 20 of them in stock . After a 10 minute drive and a coffee and a cig. I returned back to the dealer and said I 'll take that one. I have never done this before . The car is so fun & I look forward to the long drives durring the week now. It seems that the sky is unlimited for the amount of mods that can be done to this car. The Sti might not get as much as attention as it has been for a while

Im so feelin' you on that note... I used to complain about the distance I travel to work, after getting my MCS, I feel it just isn't far enough...

Congrats on your purchase- go nuts with the mods- that's where Im heading!

Hehe, I think this is kinda funny b/c my husband & I are currently looking into buying a car like an xB to have a car we don't mind putting miles on b/c its killing us racking up miles on his Evo and my MINI. I got my MINI in February '05 and I already have over 11,000 miles on it. But they've been fun miles

My wife got hers in Jan 05 with about 19K on it, we just turned over 37K this month!

Unfortunately, I think I've only put about 500 of those miles on it. . .
