Congrats on the order. How nice of you to get it for your wife. Does that mean you will never drive it? Welcome to NAM.

Great site by the way. Yes I will get to drive. When I met her she had just purchased a Honda CRX Si so she knows her cars.

I was told by my MA that we (wife) will have the car in 8 weeks. Any idea how long it takes to get to "Scheduled for Production"?
Is there a thread here that will explain the time frame?
thank you in advance.

Where can I find me one of these women? Congrats on the order. The leatherette is great stuff. I'm waiting for an '05 too, but I have an '03 to drive in the meantime, so my wait isn't so bad.

Welcome!
Chris

Just Curious...

I am just curious how come people are ordering Mini's this late in the season. Why not just wait a couple of months more and get a 2006? Unless you want electric blue, then I can see it. I am planning on ordering a 2006 MCS. I am haven't quite decided on all my options yet.

Short answer - We didn't want to wait any longer. + we live in the midwest (suburb of Chicago) and the autumns here are pretty nice for motoring.
