I'm trading up to a 05 MCSa

Well its official and its ordered as of today. I have a 2005 MCSa on its way for me. I love my 04 MC CVT and well I just want the extra power of a MCS and alot of goodies that if I had known more about the MINI when I bought it I would of got. So without further adeu (sp?) here our my car's specs:

Pure silver (top and mirrors)
All 4 packages
Automatic transmission :-)
Xenons, fogs and rear fog lamp
Center Arm Rest
Octagon Tartan Red seats
Silver dash with Chrome line interior
Navi

Dealer accessories (some are still being disputed):
Aero Kit w/ magnetic bonnet and boot stripes I already have
Security System
Hands free phone kit
R99 wheels in Anthracite (gray in the 05 catalog)
Any probaly pic up some wheel locks

Dealer qouted me $33,700 for all that installed.
Not bad I think for having a 3rd MINI from Tate MINI of Annapolis, MD.
Also I know I could probaly save some $ if I bought parts from Classic in OH but this way I pay as I go in the deal.

Update
I have my production number and a estimated date of build completion.
May 18th. So I guess I'm in the May build club
As for a car name. At work I am called Brain. So I think the custom tag will be that os MSBrain.

What! No grocery bag holder??? With a car like that your milk and eggs will become your new interior decor.

BTW GREAT exterior appearance package. Should look icy cool.

Beautiful MINI!!! Congrats and I guess you'll be in the May build club? Once you get your production number, you'll figure it out.

Thanks for fixing my post. Sounds cool. Its amazing what a month long wait will do to a man. I'm already buying accessories and mods for the car.

Well, after being in the MINI cult for a while, now you've gone into the mod sub-cult!

Which mods are you considering?

Well since the JCW air intake is just crazy priced I am going with M7s new AGS. Also getting his Extreme hood scoop and carbon fiber front splitter. Only mod that worries me is that splitter. It looks like it must be mounted and installed on my brand new Aero kit. I also have on my previous ca Ian's auto up circuit. Which I might get another to get the Auto Fog lights set on. I also want to get some bling-bling. As in fron and rear strut tower bars. That way I can make people think I made the great MINI suspension better.

Other then that for now I will leave the car as is. When I drove one I ahd my Dad in the car and all he is says is "this thing moves and is more fun to drive". All I could do was smile.

Have you seen the M7 splitter? I'm not sure, either, how it will work on your aero kit. I saw maxmini's (Randy's) at the Vegas Meet last month, but I don't recall if he has the aero kit or not. If you do get it, better be VERY careful going over bumps and down driveways!

Carbon fiber with all the pure silver? Hmmmmm.....gotta see pix of that!

yah I'm going for a nice and very clean PS and black w/ carbon Fiber look. With the hood scoop. Do you think I should get it to match the car's PS or have it black?

Woohoo!! I just called MINIUSA and with my newly acquired production # they said my car has a estimated production completion date of May 18th . And they helped me add my tracking of the car to my already existing Owner's Lounge. I'm do crazy now.

On the site it does show the color wrong but they say that will be corrected in the next few days.

Hey brain - you seem to be up on these things... how 'bout sharing a little of your youthful wisdom (and enthusiasm).

I just found out my VIN today, and learned that my estimated completion date is on May 8 (Sunday!?!). What other kind of information can I get now that I have the VIN? I assume shipping info will be available once the car is actually finished and delivered to the point of departure. Anything else?

Well do this. Go to the below website:
http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto

In the space for a tracking number type in your VIN. Hopefully a ship and other details of when it will be coming to the US will be shown. It should then also show you your ship's name and voyage number.

My ship is due in port Thursday (May 12th). According to the Owner's Lounge my car has an estimated delivery date of May 14th.
