Met the love of my life tonight....

Samantha came in 2 days early and I got to meet her tonight... It was only a quick visit, but SO worth the drive back to the dealership... I have a crude picture to share and ill put it up later! Tuesday (when i get to bring her home) will not come soon enough!

YAY!!! Very exciting news!!! I cannot imagine how thrilled you must be!!! This weekend is going to seem so surreal to you!!!

The weirdest feeling I remember was 1) sitting in the driver's seat of MY MINI for the first time and 2) driving out of the dealer's parking lot on my very first motoring adventure.

Very, very good stuff.

Been with you since your intro; great keeping up with you!

I eagerly anticipate getting my call that my firstborn has arrived.

It goes without saying, I know, but pictures are a definite plus! Post that first one, and we'll all look forward to tuesday!

I completely know this feeling...Hal came in a month early....and my MA didn't even know she was there....I was passing through the lot and saw her....even there there are plenty of IB/W Minis that come in and out of the dealership I knew it was her....I gave her a big hug....

Anyway....I am very happy for you! always love her...and she will love you back....

Queen, Did you see a Hyper Blue MCS with white roof and stripes and web spoke wheels at Neillo. That would be my car it was scheduled for delivery today but I didn't think it would be on time . Oh well I have to wait a few days after its delivered any way to get the JCW Kit and the Sirius Radio installed.

Totally forgot my camera... and it was already 7:30 when Wade called to tell me that Sam was at the dealership... Luckily I was with my GREAT friend Matt and he took a pic of her with his camera phone... so here she is!

I'm not seeing the piccie...just the dreaded red x, sweetie. Also, I am eager to hear your take on the MCS automatic trannie.

I am SOOO excited for her! Thanks to everyone for all the advice youve already given and that I will get to experience after I get her!

I did see 2 HB/W MCS's when I was there... One was sitting in the back lot and another was in the shop being worked on... I did not get close enough to notice the wheels tho... I am sure yours is there! Go find out!!!

Congratulations on your new MINI! I am sure Tuesday is going to take forever for you to get here. At least when the time changes tonight you'll get to skip an hour ahead.

I also got my MINI from Niello and I had no idea you could tell them not to drill the front bumper until I picked it up. Now I have two SS screws in my bumper to plug the holes which were not even drilled on center. Oh well, it isn't that noticable. Would have been nice to know though that I did not have to have it done.

We have a saying in our local club that is perhaps appropriate here:

TICK.........................................TOCK. ...................................TICK........... .........................TOCK

Congratulations Tori! I still remember the day (only just over a month ago!) that you first PMed me asking about my options and mods, right after I announced that I'd picked MINE up, and here you are, about to pick up yours.

Wonderful to hear! Looking forward to hearing more details as you join the "movement".

Tori-

Have you discussed programing options for your new MINI with your MA?

I have the list and I think that I am going to keep most of the options standard, but add auto unlock when you turn off the ignition... I know that there are a few threads about this, does anyone have any recommendations? to do/not do?

and hey! our cars were built on the same day!
