good deal?
On the other hand.....
Is it the MINI you want? If so:
1. It's a little cheaper.
2. No break in time.
3. 4400 miles is nothing.
4. You get it NOW!
What ever you decide, enjoy. Oh, yea, welcome.

I know it's tempting, but I wouldn't trust it. You'll never know if the dealer is being straight with you about why the car was traded or sold so soon. Unfortunately there seem to be more shady MINI dealerships than honest ones.
well i bought it. the used one. its a gamble i know, but its so close to the one i wanted and 22000 is near the max that i wanted to spend. plus i got a $5k trade in on my old vw with 95k miles. so I am only financing 16.5k. with 500 down.
i know a lot of u would say $1.6k is not that much money, but to me it is and 4400 mi is not that much.
everything seems fine so far... nothing obvious after driving it for a day.

I got to thinking, everyone around here is always bragging about the great resale value of their cars. Yet, at the same time, some tell you that you have paid too much? I don’t get it.
I am sure you going to have lots of fun, while I am still waiting for mine.
Post some pictures.

I think it looks OK on the price- really depends on your area. If there are few good MINIs for sale used then $22K is good. If there are quite a few for sale all the time then you can do better but likely from a private party.
The dealership has to make a "profit" and probably gave a low ball price on the used MCS to get it.
A private party has more negotiating room.
2005 MCS with manual, sport and premium packages is about $24,000 value. 4400 miles is nothing but it is used. If in excellent shape and the right color (metallic? if so then $400 more), then you can enjoy now instead of ordering.
Post some pictures!
I bought vehicle # 173 from Peabody and I can't say enough good about their service Mgr. Gary King ,a real peach to deal with.Their MA's are a little brain dead though, I know what you mean.Good luck with your new toy and be carefull, the "man" just LOVES to bust us,you are no longer invisible.
