Hello everyone. It's a pleasure to be here with all of you. I've been reading the forum for a long time but I've never posted anything. I am the proud owner of a mini cooper r53. I try to do all the maintenance by myself. And I learned a lot here. Thank you
Welcome, do forget to post up some pics.

Completely agreed with you!!!!
The car is amazing. Too bad the old owner didn’t perform regular stuff. Replaced so until now, since January, when I bought the car.
1) Air filter hose: cracked from the previous owner
2) Front seats: stranger noise and a hole in the left side. Heated ones.
3) Brake pads and brake discs
4) Removed Nav and installed a Chrono Pack from the same year. All stuff working but need some adjustment (facing some problems with the fuel gauge, ASC not disengaging and VIN number)
5) Replaced wheels (bend from the previous owner)
6) Replaced the entire suspension (lowered from the previous owner, too hard on the streets)
7) All spark plugs from the factory spec (was using a regular one)
8) Sunroof engine (damaged gear and the guy just disconnect the engine, so replaced the entire sunroof engine)
9) Air filter, oil filter, 5w40 lubrax synthetic oil
10) Replaced the radiator fan, was not engaging in phase 2.
11) Some spray glue on the ledge
12) Replaced the original radio by a CarPlay with detachable screen and installed a HKEnabler to work with the amp.
13) Installed a steering wheel with the cruise control buttons and a clock spring, hoping to find a cable to engage the original cruise control, but forgot the idea and installed a John Gold cruise control. I will replace the buttons on the steering wheel with a small buttons from amazon to control the CarPlay and incoming calls.
14) Some rust converter in the chassis and adjusted the heat shield from the exhaust system
15) Replaced the spark plug cables
16) installed a bypass on the battery fuse because the ABS light come up on the dashboard.
17) Loving the little one! Come from a Mini Cooper R50 2003, and for sure, this is more and more funny to drive.
