R56 Headlight Switch Not Working
R56 Headlight Switch Not Working
The headlight switch on the turnsignal stalk of my 2011 MINI S does not seem to really do anything except turn off the dash lights when it is in the off position... the headlights stay on in all 3 positions. I've looked to see if there is something in the options programming but I can't find anything. I would like to be able to sit with just the marker lights on and to be able to drive the car with all exterior and interior lights off... does anyone have any idea why the switch is not working as it should? My only guess is that there is something wrong with the daylight sensor that is messing with the intended functionality. Thanks, Tim B.
Here is the link to video on how to change DRLs option:
But AFAIK some markets that require DRLs by law have this option unavailable or have no effect. I believe in this case you'd need to remove the vehicle option from your FRM using some coding tool.
