Waiting for the arrival of my fourth MINI coupe. It’s been at the port for a month. Anyway, over the years, a lot has changed, and I guess I missed this, but I know MINI now has some kind of assisted cruise control as an option. Since I did not select this option when I built it online, will my MINI have the regular old cruise control? I don’t see it listed as a standard feature ( signature trim). If not included, is there a way for the dealer to install it? Thanks.

 

if i had to place a bet. I would put about 10,000 US Dollars on the fact that your vehicle will come equipped with regular old cruise control

unless, maybe it comes without the buttons on the steering wheel and then hence without the cruise control? I have no idea, but did you try looking up the vin and seeing what it says for options and such. You do have the VIN now that you have ordered it already and its at the port im assuming

 

Yes, I have the VIN. In the Mini Garage there is no cruise control listed under standard features, signature trim, or navigation package that I did buy. I googled images of the 2021 dashboard, and it looks like the cruise control on the steering wheel I have now (2017), but I don’t know if they are showing the standard features or the upgrade to assisted cruise control.

 

can you plug the VIN into another websites vin reader to maybe show you? im not sure other than that. Good luck.

 

Well, that’s really confusing. I used the VIN search on NHTSA, and it says my mini not only has adaptive cruise control, but Lane Departure Warning, and I know it doesn’t have that. I guess I’ll just have to wait and be surprised. Still at the dock.

 

Yeah idk about the lane departure, but sounds like you will have good old cruise control
