Argh! Trying to decide on color is killing me!

How did you guys choose - did you just know what you like? I am going crazy trying to make up my mind between CR with Tartan Red interior and HB with Lapis (yes I like the two tone thing )

Anyone with the tartan red have feedback about durability/cleanability of the fabric? That could be a factor for me..

I think the Tartan Red with CR would be awesome and kinda unique. However, a Hyper Blue with Lapis Blue Leather is probably my vote (even though I have a CR/W car). I have black Panther Leather in my car and while I like it a lot the Blue Lapis is awesome wth a Hyper Blue car.

The red Tartan is going to wear well and will still be outstanding on a CR car. I don't know if I have helped or confused you but I enjoyed writing this because I know what you are up against. Too many choices!

Am sure either would look sharp. I have the Lapis with Anthracite interior and have had many "ooh's" and "aah's".

Same here dude, same here.

I can't decide what color to get at all....Originally I wanted yellow, then I liked red, but I've always liked the green, and I also think the dark silver looks sweet...so yeah...I know what you're going through. At least I decided that I want the black leatherette interior. As far as silver or anthracite trim, no idea...I'm going to the dealer on Wednesday to look at all the different options...hopefully that will help me make up my mind.

Don't ask me, ask my wife?!?! She picked out the Liquid Yellow on my 05 MINI. Now that I have it, I really like it. So, what you get is what you like!!

Good luck, going to the dealer only confused me more

Oh well, guess no-one can really help me make up my mind - any feedback on owning them (esp. the interior and how it wears) would help. Gotta decide fast though!

Thanks for posting to my first thread everyone

This is just my opinion, obviously...but I would go for the HB with the lapis interior. I actually like Chili Red better, but I don't care for the tartan red because it's cloth. I hate cloth. If you really want the two tone look, I'd get the Hyper Blue/Lapis. It's too bad they discontinued the black/green leather interior....that looked so sweet with the BRG. Oh well.

OK here's my next choice since you mentioned BRG.

BRG/White and white stripes. Cordoba Beige/black leather interior with anthracite dash and headliner.

Awesome!

Welp, I have set my mind on Hyper over Lapis

Now I am agonizing over white or black top

Black = stealthy, more aggressive
White = very "mini" (a look unique to the car), probably safer since the car is much more visible

Is white too cute and happy looking though?

Hmm...

It is a cute and happy car. Go with it! I think the white roof would look nice and, like you say, it would make you more visible.

The only MINI I really like with the black top and mirrors would be the BRG color...other than that...I think white is the way to go for sure. I absolutely love it on my DS MINI

I flip-flopped on my color choice too. I think that's pretty normal. I mean, a MINI looks cool in about any color combination you can come up with. I'll bet you'll be happy with which ever you pick. I went with the Jet Black/Black-Gray Leatherette. I picked it up last weekend from John at Mini of Nashville. Great folks to deal with. Just turned over 350 miles!

I'm in the same boat: red vs. dark silver for a cabrio S. It's true, the car looks great in any color, making this the most difficult car I've ever bought as far as choosing color + options. It's driving me insane.

I went with DS/B and love it. I am a chrome fan, so went with the chrome exterior package and the black doesn't distract from the chrome. Regardless of the exterior package, I would highly recommend the anthracite interior. To me it looks much nicer than the light gray interior. I also went with the anthracite dash and black leather, so you see my theme, I like the dark colors.

I hear you, I've never had a problem choosing a color before. Unlike other cars the lines of the Mini work well with almost anything and I find myself drawn to bright M&M type hues that suit the small bubbly nature of the car - colors I wouldn't consider on many other autos (with the exception of exotics of course, gimme a yellow Ferarri, orange Lambo, green Exige, etc anyday
).
