Hi, I'm Rob's dad

I bought his chilli red 06 r53 jcw, thus my identity here is connected very much with him. I'm ready to do my 3rd mod, a catback exhaust. I live near philly and want to hear a real car with a milltek or invidia n1 exhaust. I've kind of settled on these 2 but I'm not able to decide from listening to YouTube videos. The jcw exhaust is in fine shape but I want some more volume.

Rob is a bit of a helicopter parent and out of respect for him I want to be as sure of my choice as I can be.
I ordered wetokole seat covers with red piping that upset him a bit, but he won't pass judgement until he sees them installed.

Back to the exhaust, if someone with either of these can P.M. me to set up a meet it would help a lot.

I would go with the milltek and its on sale right now some sound clips here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...exhaust-2.html

Good luck on the exhaust search.

Welcome

We've used and installed both the Milltek and Invidia and I would by far recommend the Milltek. less joints to fail, makes torque, fits right, good sound, and on sale with free shipping right now as we have sold several last week for the current sale which is the best it's ever been.

Rob's dad here

Thanks for saying hi and your suggestions. I've looked around a bit and think my questions on the exhaust don't belong in 1st gear. Where should they be?

thanks again!
