Hey, I'm Bob and I live outside of Nashville in Murfreesboro, TN... New to the forum and new to Mini's

a month ago my wife and I bought a 2018 Countryman. Immediately fell in love with Mini and I wanted my own... though I wanted a 2 door F56.
on 9/27/19, i bought a 2014 F56 base model.... It has 54,000 miles and so far it seems that all preventative maintenance has been preformed....
I got full list of maintenance records. It has new tires (run flats - not a fan) & brakes, as well as an oil change.
Yes, I bought it from a dealer, but honestly feel I was treated fairly. Heck we bought 2 cars from the same dealer in 2 months. And I will buy from them again.


The only issues that I've come across (which I knew about prior to buying) was the lower honeycomb grille was broken and the lower black valance and it needs new wiper blades. (these defects were reflected in the price)... They offered to order the parts for me... but I decided to order on my own.
I have replacement parts ordered.

My plan is for it to be my daily driver. It is replacing my Wrangler....

While I love it just as it is....
I have a couple of things I'd like to do.... basically, I want to replace the hood stripes (they have issues) and I'm kind of considering wrapping the roof in white.
I also would like to add oem front fog lights (in the bumper) and add the rear fog light. Need to do some research and see if this is possible.

I am actually surprised with the amount of get up and go the 3 cyl has and it still gets 35+ mpg with the auto.

 

Wrapping the roof will probably look nice, especially if you redo the stripes in white. Add more photos after the work you do.

Hi and welcome to the NAM family! It is quite common for a family to get a Mini and sooner that later, get another! It is proof of a MINIAC!
Congrats and a white roof will keep it cooler and adding new white stripes will make it cooler!
