Hey! So I'll be honest, I've been on here a while but never had much time to actually do anything until just recently. I live out in central Pa and recently came into possession of my first mini! It's a 2010 Clubman S. I haven't done much but get new wheels and some minor cosmetic work here and there, but there will definitely be more to come.
I''ve always been in love with Mini Coopers and never had the money to get one until recently. Since day one, it's been an absolute dream. She's no race car but, she's mine and I'm in love haha
I'm looking forward to picking your brains for tips and tricks!
Welcome to the forum. As I am sure you know, Central PA is great for MINIs with all the hills, limited traffic, and limited police protection. We have it made. I also love the white wheels. Are they a lot of work to keep looking good?

Yess i do love it out here. Its a fantastic place for a cruise.
And thanks! They're a good amount of work, yeah. Especially since its a daily driver. So much brake dust haha
I grew up in Southern NJ so we were in the Philadelphia circle of influence. I've only driven through PA a few times to Penn State once and outside Pittsburgh once (Johnstown maybe?). I had one of my biggest heart attack moments when I was driving on a big, empty highway (on that maybe Johnstown trip) for hours and eventually I see a cop car in my rearview with its lights on. I looked down and saw I was going 90 mph but luckily that cop flew by me!

Thanks! It's kinda funny, before this I had a dark green Jeep and kinda hated the color, but on my Mini, I absolutely love it.
I actually live pretty close to Penn State. It's a nice enough area but, have to drive a bit out of town to really let the mini stretch her legs.
Damn you got lucky. So far, I've kept myself ticket free but...it's too easy to have fun in a mini xD

Oof yeah, not looking forward to that. Though I do have a second set of wheels with winter tires, and fortunately, I'm all of 5 min from work.
Also, I'm only just now seeing all your guys' pictures (they wouldn't load before for some reason) and man..there are some beautiful cars here. Like your classic red one, so cool!!!
In central PA, your next door neighbor most likely has a new 4WD Ford F150. If you live in a higher class neighborhood (in central PA) he probably has a snowplow on the front of it. In either case, he is likely more than willing to help you out whenever you ask. Get him to give you a ride to work on the bad weather days.
We have more 4WD pickups on my street than sedans.
I have an F250, none of my other vehicles get driven in the winter. That is why is sucks! The cold and snow is just the worst, the absolute worst. I could tolerate the shorter days if I didn't feel like I was holed up for 6 months of the year.
I should own stock in battery tenders and fuel stabilizer at this point.
I'm fortunate enough in that I live in an apartment complex so, someone else plows for me anyways. Living in Penn State area, there's not many trucks around. Mostly rich college kids with Maseratis and Audis etc. My roommate has a newer wrx though so, I'll let him drive in the winter
