The mother-in-law upgraded to a 2015 countryman, and offered to sell me her 2008 MCS for cheap. I could not pass on the offer, and picked it up last night. I do not have any pictures as of right now, but it is British racing green, with white stripes on the front.
The car has about 138,000 miles on it, which has me a bit nervous. The car seems to be in good shape. The owner mentions that the timing chain guide has never been changed, but has maintenance records for pretty much everything and says he typically feeds it about 1qt of oil per month.

Took some pictures yesterday on my way home from work. Found out this morning that the left rear light is out. The previous owner said that there is something wrong with it and has a new assembly that he's gonna give me this weekend.
I have a fondness for BRG Mini Coopers, as it was the color of my first one! 05 with stripes and chrono pack.
I always loved this car and wish I had it back!
