Hi and welcome to the NAM family. 06 Minis' are the best of the gen 1 Mini and a great machine. The six speed manual is a strong piece of kit, though, not a speed shifter. It does require a bit of finesse to shift smoothly (shifts a bit slower, than you would like). It is the best year of the gen 1 Mini Coopers and in my opinion (and many others). They handle great as is, but a larger rear sway bar will add to that. If you have run flats on it, ditch them for a smoother, better handling ride. Just buy an electric portable compressor and a patch kit, as there is no place for a spare, unless you just put one in the boot!
I am all for celebrating the flair these have, so would put stripes, or the 06 V stripe on the hood! (they came both ways).

The 06 treatment My 06 MCS JCW

Thanks....it is a nice piece of kit...Was lucky to purchase it from a car guy...It does have two tiny rust spots just above the license plate light trim...I was wondering if the 12 year rust warranty would apply.....Will put snows on these wheels(I live in PA) and buy new tire/wheels for the spring/summer/fall...

Welcome! It's just the time to pack your Mini away for the PA winter!

Any good details on that NB1?

The Mazda is a 99...It's pretty much stock except for different wheels/mild suspension upgrade/roll bar

Nice collection! I've never had the pleasure of riding one of those BMWs, but I do still miss my Miata years later.

I don't ride that bike nearly enough....It's cool riding 1973 tech...once and awhile I think about selling it(same with the Mazda) then I ride/drive it and I say why would I want to sell this.......and my MINI just threw a P0128 code so it's going in soon for some work...I prolly could do it myself but I just don't have the time right now...
