Newbie from South Africa

Hey guys, I'm a first time owner of a 2012 R59 Cooper S JCW, absolutely loving it. Had the decat done about 2 weeks ago and it's even better. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get help fitting an aftermarket Amp and Sub, I have a HK system and it's lacking in the bass department. I've pulled the x9331 connector and I can't find the yellow wires pictured in most inter searches. Am I missing something ?

Welcome to the forum and MINI ownership. I suspect that there will be many suggestions to follow.

Can you post some pictures of your new MINI? They are all different and we appreciate seeing yours. I guess the new forum members are getting off easy with this request at the introduction. If we were all in the same area, I would bet we would all be asking for a ride in the new member's MINI. (We would bring the beer (for after the ride).)

How are the roads in your area? MINIs love winding roads with lots of hills and limited traffic. Do you have roads that would fit this description in your part of South Africa ?

In Cape Town they have all the scenic mountain roads and twisties, but here in Johannesburg its just traffic, specially where I am, if I don't leave by 5:30 in the morning ill be stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.

Welcome.

Great looking car, must be hard to drive with the bow tie but you can never go wrong going formal.

Motor On!

Welcome and nice R59 JCW.

What i did on my R58 JCW is move the fader mostly to the rear, turn the bass all the way up and the treble. The it was fine. Its at 3/4 the way to the rear on the fader.
