Hello!

I’m Tiffany, originally from Houston, Texas but relocated to Alberta, Canada. I just picked up a Moonwalk Grey 2019 Countryman S All4 in May. Since I’ve picked it up, I’ve tinted it, installed paint protection film on the front, wrapped it in color shift vinyl, ceramic coated on top, and installed a dashcam. My husband did give me tips on how to install the ppf and vinyl. There’s still some finishing touches I’d like to add before I start with other mods.

*Edit I forgot to mention I smoked the headlights and taillights.*

I’m not sure if the 2019’s are exactly the same as the 2018, so there’s not much that I can purchase for my car yet. I’m looking at getting lowering springs and new rims and tires.

Welcome and nice work. Thanks for sharing the pics.
I'm asking because I'm ignorant on both the ppf and wrapping. Your description and pics seem to say you put the ppf on first, then the vinyl wrap. Wouldn't the vinyl wrap alone do the job of protecting the paint? or maybe I misunderstood.

It really depends on what you want and where you’re located that best suits your needs. Most people only do ppf on their cars to protect the paint from normal rock chips. I did ppf and then vinyl because if I decide to change the color of my wrap and remove it, I’ll still have some sort of protection on the car. Some people do ppf, vinyl wrap and then more ppf (or just vinyl and ppf on top) to protect the vinyl and paint from chipping, especially up here in Canada. So much gravel and dirt during the winters. My E63s had ppf, black chrome vinyl, and then ppf on top (it’s changed colors a few times). My husbands cars have changed colors so many times as well, lol. His M4 in the last pic is about to change colors and he said he wants me to do it. It’ll only be my second car I’ve solo wrapped with absolutely no training. I can’t beleive he trusts me.
