Ok, So I'm traveling this Saturday if everything works out to Massachusetts. To look/Buy a 2010 Clubman JCW. I know it's not a R53. But I'm thinking about longer trips and beach weekends. Those Barn doors are cool. The car only has 60K and it's a stick....

Keep an eye on the engine issues, I believe that has an N14 engine in it.

Have fun in Massachusetts.

Ugh... I heard before to stay away from N14 motors. Any idea what issues to look for or should I just stay away from it?

Rattling on cold start up from what I've read but I don't dabble too much in the second generation cars. The recalls were related to premature failure of timing chain components.

Make sure you do your homework.
