Just dropping a line

Hey guys I'm John from Jersey. Finally decided to make a profile after using the site for so much reference info in the past for help with my own MINI related issues (Mom has a base R58 and I have had an F56 previously).

Anyway, I currently own a manual 2014 R61 S All4, purchased CPO from Morristown MINI a little under a year ago at about 32k (now at 42k). Car drives wonderfully and I love the AWD of the vehicle, just not a huge fan of the body roll lol. I am running a JB+ tune, as well as an Injen intake with a Megan Racing axle back. Additionally, it lacks MINI connected so I added in a bluetooth aux dongle for music and hardwired an always-on backup camera into the vehicle as well.

Have had a few problems since taking ownership: Engine coils went, thermostat failed during the recent winter months, o2 sensor failed and the drive belts were apparently rotted, which i believe was causing this weird chewbacca squeal going into first. All repairs were covered under the factory warranty, though that expires in a week and I do have CPO warranty for three more years. That aside, the car has been a great performer otherwise, and for what it is I think it's a great vehicle overall.

Thanks for all the support

Welcome. Nice to find a modded Paceman. Looks much better with those rear windows tinted.
