Why did I wait so long?

So Ive been a Mini owner since September of last year but because I couldn't schedule a trip to Japan to experience and perform last minute maintenance, I didn't get the Mini experience till recently. The car has been in the USA for about 45 days now and its by far the most fun thing ive ever driven. I look forward to joining the Mini community! Enjoy some pictures of my cross country trip home to Columbus Ohio!

PS what are the year breakdowns on the generations? Mine is a 1993 Mini Cooper with a Japanese dealer JCW conversion.

This was leaving my grandparents house in Georgetown Texas. I had to pick the car up from Customs in Galveston and they live just 4 hours away (Short distance in Texas)
This was my first stop for gas. I was 70km into the trip home.
If your on I-40, North of Little Rock, stop by Nicks BBQ and Catfish!!!
Half way Home! Memphis, Tennessee
This was in front of the American Pickers store in Nashville
Corvette Factory in Bowling Green, Kentucky
Cincinnati OHIO!
Home after its 2100km Trip

Welcome to NAM.

I use Gen1, Gen2 and Gen3 when talking MINIs here but you have the Mini albeit a newer version of the original Austin/Morris.

Nice ride! You should bring it to British Car Days at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix in July. You can park right on the golf course with thousands of other cool cars and watch the vintage races on Saturday and Sunday.

Welcome.

The "Classic" was available for sale as late as 2000. There are lots of parts suppliers and service shop that can support this little beauty. Great buy.

Motor On!

Congrats I have a classic too and love it.

Be warned you're going to get a lot of attention.
