Nearly 20 years in the making...

Just finally bought my first mini... Have had a classice (72, checkmate) and newer, 03 S, in my life extensively.... But finally found the right R56.

Would love suggestions on things to watch out for, first mods, etc.

Located in FL. Plan to daily drive, road course track, and enjoy. Have an F150, E30, and a plethora of motorcycles and flying machines to balance it with

All you need is an F56 and you could have a collection of all the major generations!

Post up some pictures when you get a chance.

Welcome to NAM. Congratulations on the purchase of your R56. First mod, rear sway bar. Best bang for your buck! I tend to always work from the ground up. Suspension, braking and then work on engine mods. If you'd like some suggestions and pricing please don't hesitate to shoot me a PM.

Welcome to NAM, you have years of grins ahead of you. Please check our site for step-by-step upgrade and maintenance guides. I raced my Mini at Gainsville, Fla road racing circuit in an SCCA National and loved it there. Please ask any questions if you need help!

Photos to come.. There is currently a dragon on the roof... It must be taken off, haha.

Thank you all for the welcome!

I'd love feedback on the best rear swaybar, (budget, and expensive/ low weight).

Also looking for thoughts on a solid rally light set up. I'd like 4 lights... My only visual mod... Something I've always wanted
