Here is the sad part....the original owner lived in sunny Florida, it doesn't have heated seats😪 This bummed me out!

 

Yea, thats what I see allot , FL , TX , and Cali MINIs convertibles and roadster has cloth seat option and no seat heaters. R52 Convertible owner here, so top down and heat on the floor.

It's just barely broken in! Great Roadster, great interior and really like those silver conical wheels.

Top down weather is coming. We've done top down driving on sunny dry days in temperatures down as low as mid 30s but they started out in the 40s. There are some hardier roadster owners, especially one that you'll probably see on this site who drops the top on his Roadster at almost any temperature in Winter as long as it's not snowing. Talk about hardy!

The best part about your seats is the cloth section and the light color on the leather. In the Summer with the top down, dark leather or leatherette seats can get really hot when the sun is on 'em and you're not. Cloth seats will get pretty warm, but not nearly as hot or as painful as the leather/leatherette seats can be. We tried to find a Roadster with cloth seats and failed. So we will have to be a little more cautious at the point that our Summer sunshine arrives.

And I agree on the seat issue. My daughter got her roadster 1 week before me and her seats are all black...but still a beautiful car 😊 She said the same thing to me when I kinda complained about not having heated seats and hers did. LOL

We do have beautiful scenic drives up here in NH 👍🏼 dear husband got a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra glide for his 50th Birthday!! We had it 4 years. I have a camera around neck to capture the beauty all around us.

Since you are fellow NH driver...you might want to consider attentending MOT, mini's on top...an event where mini drivers of all type from most of the US and Canada) spend a weekend in the shadow of the Mt Washington, the convoy up to the top enmass....it's quite fun....and the group drives on the Kankmangueas highway can be a blast!!
It's a fun weekend. And it resides $$ for charity... Been going on for more than a decade now.
