Hi everyone,

My 2016 JCW landed in Brunswick Ga this am. Imagine I will see it in the next week or so. It's been a long wait since mid October :p Faster Kill Pussycat is a white silver F56 JCW with chili red roof, JCW mirror caps, carbon scoop, black wheels, JCW scuttles and fog lights. Already planning a rocker graphic as I think the side of the mini is just to plain. Or maybe they intended it to be a blank canvas lol. Will get some pics up when she gets here. I have already registered for MOTD and hope to meet many of you in May. Any other mini pilots going up from FL interested in a mini mini parade to NC let me know. Surprisingly I don't think there are any mini clubs in central FL.

In the meantime I will be terrorizing the streets of Orlando soon so watch out!

Nice color combination... will be nice to see when you get it! Be super careful with that terrorizing in Orlando traffic... even in a fast Mini, there's a lot cars out on those roads competing for the space you occupy. I have family in Apopka so I've kinda been there more than a few times.

That traffic in those big Florida towns is near epic.

Don't forget to post some great pictures of that car when you get it.

Nice to see another Orlando MINI owner. There are clubs in Florida, checkout http://www.sunshineminis.org/. But looking at the MINIs of Orlando forum on the website it doesn't look like they are very active (at least not on the forums).

Arghhhhhhh They are telling me Monday now. It's been on U.S. soil for over a week Was released to carrier Friday and ask mini says it's in transit. It's only a 3.5 hour drive from distribution center to Orlando. Must be taking the long way.... Those pics will have to wait a little longer

 

Maybe it has to go through the BMW hub in Spartanburg!

 

Welcome, sometimes they get held up in the VDC at the port, they only go to Spartanburg when they have more damage then the PDC can do ( which does not happen often ) and they would tell you. Most of the time its the Rolls Royce cars that go there.

Also if you have Port installed options, that hold things up at the VDC.

 

Not in my case. My car was released to carrier on Friday 19th. Tracking info indicated that it arrived at dealership 7:23 pm same day. Problem is, according to dealership, it never arrived. So they dig a little deeper and now they are telling me it left Brunswick GA this am and should be here this evening. At this point frustration level is high. Not sure how a car can be signed for that never hits the lot. These kinds of things only happen to me.....

 

Ah, that stinks, having ordered my MINI before and did the track thing , I know there is a rush when you want it and then you get a hiccup like that. Possible they have a new person checking them in off the transport ?

 

No, it's simply not there as well as another car that tracking indicated had been delivered. Some kind of mix up with carrier of some sort. After I got off phone with mini usa and they confirmed delivery on Friday, I had some really dark nasty thoughts for my MA. I suspected it had been there all weekend and they just didn't want to deal with it. So anyway, now they are telling me this evening and that it will go straight to prep from truck. We'll see......

 

Wow, thats crazy. Having mine delivered, did not have any issue like that. They are usually pretty good on the transport side, and meeting eta's.

I hope you get it very soon, ask for some freebies at pickup , like another set of mats or something.

 

Finally showed up at dealer last night. Rushed it through pre delivery, sign some papers and off I went. Took a few quick pics with cell phone. It's been a load of fun so far! Black fog lights should be installed next week. Dark tint and rocker graphic soon to follow.

 

Certainly looks like a JCW with that black, white, and red.

Yes, definitely worth the wait! This car really influences your driving style. I went from grandpa mode in a Jeep Wrangler to every corner presenting an "opportunity" LOL The car looks awesome in the bright sun.

Meant the front driving lights. They were supposed to be a dealer installed option but I guess the dealer thought it would come with them pre-installed. Anyway, there was some kind of mix up and I'm getting installation for free!

Added clear bra, driving lights, tint, and graphic. Considering black trim options.
