Oh man, my first post!!

I just joined the Mini world yesterday. I bought my first ever Mini! I got a Cooper S hardtop with the John Cooper Works performance package.

I have 4 Subaru STis before my Mini so Im really excited about the power this little car has.

Hello and welcome. Another lucky person who discovered how wonderful these little cars are. Congratulations. I'm sure you'll be hearing from folks in your area.

Thanks guys! Im pretty excited to learn about the Mini.

I had have Subaru STi's (4) so I am a little familiar with turbo cars. I love to tinker with them. My last STi topped out at 480hp.

I'll post some pics up shortly.

Welcome, be a little harder to get a MINI up to 480hp. But 250 is achievable with a custom tune and some other add ons . Whats first on the mod list ?

Im doing as much research as I can and trying to learn as fast as I can. I might focus on handling now. High HP cars break (unfortunately, I know ) so Im going to take my time with my Mini.

1st mod, I ordered Weathertech mats
2nd mod, hit my garage door opener so I could still get it but you cant see it

Weathertech +1 , when its crappy outside this saves you interior as they have those nice high edges to catch everything and very easy to clean.

What year do you have some people have modded a homelink unit.

After a 480HP STi, you've gotta feel a little more relaxed in the Mini! Post some pictures of the old and new one when you get a chance. Huge difference between those 2 cars.

Looks great, like the factory rally light cover as they are throw backs to rally taped lights.

Welcome and enjoy your new MINI.

Sharp car

Try your local BMWCCA and see if they have a MINI special interest group or just other MINI drivers. Ours has one and it is a great way to meet other MINI people.

Clean Mini on white snow. Very nice contrast. Great color. I think you should suggest at name modification to your city council... MINIapolis. Give them all a ride in your Mini and they'll see the light! Has a really nice sound to it and think it's a Win-win. Then there's the state!... MINIsota!

Or at least state flag symbol or state flower or something! Could prod Mini to move headquarters to MINIapolis, MINIsota. They wouldn't be able to resist that.

There's a very active Mini group south of you in Iowa.
