New Mini Owner from Tennessee

Hi... I am a new owner of a 2004 Mini Cooper She has been abused in the past but I am planning to fix her up
She idles great but the motor seems to be running rough. Almost feels like something is holding it back. Going to put in the shop and find out what may be the cause of it .

Thank you so much Pelican Parts. I'm gonna have it repainted (yellow) and add raving stripes First gotta figure out what's causing the motor to feel like it's dragging . I kinda believe the previous owner didn't change the oil, fuel filter or put the premium gas in it.

You're very welcome! Glad you're keeping it yellow. If you need a good place to get stripes from, check out www.mightystripes.com. They are great and we got our white stripes for our yellow R53 from them. (It's the one in my signature). Oh my! Frequent oil changes are perhaps the most important procedure you can do to maintain and prolong the life of your engine. Be sure to keep up on them every 5k miles. Once you find out what is going on and if you need any help be sure to ask. I'm sure it'll appreciate a nice good tune up since the previous owner didn't seem to keep up on the maintenance. I'm sure it is in good hands now!
