I was adopted by a 2013 R60!

I can't tell you it's name yet, but I can describe it: Clean and well kept, taller than a hardtop, dressed sharply in Absolute Black, no stripes or stickers, but a bit of flash with some chrome highlights, wearing size 18 rims and tires. Has dark eyes and a piercing stare that lights up the darkness with Xenon brightness. Not too big on gadgets, must know it's way around as there is no NAV installed. Pretty smart as it's figured out how to talk without the Tech package, and listens to some things I say. Is really good on the phone, or so the people on the other end say. I'm guessing it's name starts with an "S" as it has that monogram on the exterior more than once! If you have a idea what the name is toss it out, you just might be right!

I've been with it since the 15th of October and still getting to know it, maybe I will get a name from it soon. I have been enjoying the time together and can't wait for Sunday to take a couple hundred mile trip.

I have added the logo puddle lights and had the windows tinted.

I came here searching for info on protective floor/boot mats to protect the carpets and so far I haven't got a total solution, but maybe soon.

(OK, so I tried to be creative, go easy on me as I am not Normal anymore!)

Motor On!

Steve

Yes I do fit and it's quite comfortable! This is the day I was adopted.

Weathertech or the Factory MINI all weather liners ( made by weather tech , just diffrent patterns design ) are good.

Welcome to NAM, Steve and congratulations on your purchase! Love those chrome mirror caps. If you're wanting a cheap solution for your mat protection, look into the Rubbertite mats HERE. The Protector mats at that link are even a cheaper option as well. If you ever need anything else, be sure to let me know and enjoy your new MINI!

Thanks everyone! A Question...

ECSTuning:
The "black eyes" are a nice look aren't they - I bought this CPO with 19K miles and it is what it is. I'm glad the previous owner had them in his build! I do like the Adaptive headlamps and the Xenon light.

Weather Tech was my leading candidate for mats until I read in a thread here about problems fitting the flat floor boot mat for the 2013 CM (a picture shows they apparently fit the 2012 very well from WeatherTech but not the 2013). Has WeatherTech re-fit the boot mat for the 2013? Anyone know? I bought my wife Weather Tech mats for her car a year or two back and they are very good. I had a Husky "boot" liner in my Edge and the curling edges were there from Day 1 and didn't get one bit better in 7 years, so I want to avoid that issue if I can.

PelicanParts:
Same question for the Rubbertite mats. I see the boot mat part numbers for 2012 and 2013 CM are the same on the website - are these going to provide a true fit? I see they are not returnable and if I can't be sure how they fit - well you can see the problem. They look good though.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Steve

Hello Steve , yes those headlights give it the personality

On the Weathertech rear flat load floor mat they have been informed which is good, but they have not told me about an update on fitment or had time to re-laser it, its just a hair off. I can contact them and see if they made an update. Last time they had to get another Countryman in for there R&D and Ford project were holding it up. Other people live with it and others have trimmed it a bit. But other then that all the Weathertech have fine perfect.

If they have it or will have it in the pipeline I can wait for the cargo liner, and just go for the f/r set right away. My wife wants me to get the F/R set as Christmas gifts and I don't want to wait, so it's still in negotiation at this moment. But so was the MINI...for a week!

Lloyd Mats are custom made for each vehicle. Lloyd gave me their measurements for the rear boot if you want to take a look at them (attached PDF's) and see if they would be a good fit for your Countryman. Let me know if you have any questions.

Uh, maybe something isn't there....

I went to measure the boot deck area and I think there is a piece that would make the floor truely flat missing,

It's a hasty pic with washed out lighting but you can see there is a recess in the area above the "well". The "well" has a hard cover that does not seem to be easily removeable but folds back to open. There are two "mounts" for an axle or pivot near the back of the seats. I could see where a flat piece would be needed to make the load floor truely flat. The build list for this VIN does show the FLF - Removeable as in the original build.

The measurements from Pelican would describe the size of the area on the "rim" (right below the anchor points near the seats) perfectly.

I bought this "CPO" from the dealer and I was not knowledgable enough to ask about this sort of thing perhaps being missing. Would you not expect that such a thing would be included with the car? Making a boot mat fit without it will be next to impossible.

Still learning - I hope.
