Congrats and Welcome! One thing that's important with your car is to change your oil religiously, and more often than the factory recommended intervals.

Welcome to NAM! Congratulations on the purchase. You should post up some pictures when you can. We just got in an R56 ourselves. Plan to update our tech articles with a lot more content so if you are looking for some good tips/tricks be sure to check them out and keep an eye out when we post more. And of course if you need any MINI parts, be sure to keep us in mind!

We need pics and congrats on the R56.

For Maintenance you can start off with Oil changes :

Welcome, Helix is dead on. We recommend changing the oil every 5k.

Welcome! MINI's are absolutely fun cars but you need to keep up with maintenance. We recommend keeping at least a quart of in the boot for top offs between oil changes!
