Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. I live in the Grand Rapids Area, and my wife and I just bought a 2009 Electric Blue Metallic. S Convertible with 6 speed and 45000 miles on it. The car was originally my sisters, so we are happy to keep it in the family. We are also looking for a Mini club in the area to meet other Mini enthusiast if anybody out there can direct me to one. This convertible replaces my 1973 MGB roadster which I sold last yr. so I am glad to have another topless car in our family. Hope to be a mainstay on this forum to many years to come.

Since your an MG guy in Grand Rapids you must know Twist, been there more times than I can count and always a good time. Hope to go again this year.

 

Maybe I can tempt you to buy another MGB! Of course getting it to Grand Rapids would be a trick. Congrats on your new ride and take a road trip to the Lelanau Peninsula this summer--there are some great driving roads up there.

Yes, I appreciate the welcomes, and yes I know John Twist, but I am done with the MGB's. Enjoyed them, but ready to move on. By the way, this is my wifes car. As for the color, I believe I had the wrong color named. I think its Laser Blue. Must have different names for similar paint as the yrs. change? Looking forward to the trips along the coast north and south.

Heres my 1973 MGB. Sold it last September. I Had fun with it over the 9 yrs I owned it. Now to enjoy our new more reliable toy.
