You know you're there when you finally insert your MINI's picture in your NAM signature. Looks good, Kenny.

Another addition to the club! I can't recall - is the Clubman made in Germany or England? That certainly affects your processing after production.

I'm pretty sure the Clubman is made on the same assembly line in Oxford.

You're probably thinking of the Countryman which is assembled in Austria.

T Dave...
Today is your MINI's Birthday!
Tomorrow is the predicted date for mine.
Congratulations!
I am curious to see how long the wait will be to get them on a ship and on their way home.

The Countryman and Paceman are the only MINIs for the USA made in Graz. That would include all specs, including the JCW. Frank

Thanks!!

I see the Tombarra is along side the MINI dock today, I have not located the Turandot. (I will check for that) My Mini is scheduled for Brunswick GA VDC.
I guess it is possible the Turandot could make both US ports. ( Located it as of this post at the dock in ZEEBRUGGE)

I look forward to pictures when your ride arrives.

The Turandot is presently in Zeebrugge, Belgium and will be leaving for Southhampton tomorrow. It does also go to Brunswick, GA.

Okay, Grumpy,

I'm late to the party today. Congratulations on getting a ship! Is the Turandot a WW or K-line ship? Mine was released to the carrier today too. I think mine will go on a WW ship because they dock at Baltimore. At least that's what the NAM instructions indicate at "First Gear". Assuming this is the case, I'm guessing I may hitch a ride on one of the following:

SOUTHAMPTON 15/09/2013 BALTIMORE, MD 25/09/2013 TONSBERG CF336-TOB 10
SOUTHAMPTON 18/09/2013 BALTIMORE, MD 28/09/2013 INDEPENDENCE II CB324-INC 10

IF it's the "Tonsberg" or "Independence", my Roadster may arrive in Baltimore on September 25th or 28th. However, I'm really not sure what I'm doing. Do both shipping lines transport from Southampton to Baltimore or, as the NAM instructions say, only WW goes to Baltimore?

What do you think? Grumpy? Anybody?

The Turandot is a WW ship. Don't know anything about K-Line. Both my MINIs came on WW. Frank

I am in need of help!
I am impatiently waiting for my red on white 2014 JCW Countryman to arrive. Am I the only one that keeps purchasing stuff for my new Countryman while it is still on the ship in the middle of the Atlantic fearing the Hurricane Gabrielle may delay its arrival. Do I have a problem? Coworkers tell me…”it’s just a car.”

So far I ordered Mini mats, stubby antennae, roof rails, hats, shirts, bags, another set of 17 inch wheels and tires for winter--to keep the 19s in good shape, wheel locks, new LED fog lights from the UK (by the way I just got my $15 US customs bill on that), Mini dog collars and Mini dog bed, Mini dog Frisbee (yes I have two dogs) and a red tow hook (just in case I take it to the track).

It is shame my BMW M Coupe accessories sitting in the garage do not fit the Mini!

Too funny! I bought the red, olive green, and black MINI ball caps in anticipation of getting my '14 Roadster S. But you got me beat TJANK! I'm disappointed you forgot the MINI travel mugs and stuffed British bulldog - perhaps you can talk your MA out of those items at delivery.

TJANK, You aren't the only one. I ordered a Heavy Duty Rear Bumper Guard
SKU RBP512 from Outmotoring.com because I also have a dog. I ordered my R56 with the rear bumper protector but it's not an R60 option. I have the part and the quality looks first class. Now all I need is the Countryman to put it on. That should happen around October 1st. I have much of the other MINI dog paraphernalia from before. Frank

Funny you mentioned the Bristish bulldog. Well the one in the US only comes with a red shirt but when I visited the Mini factory in Oxford, I noticed they sell them with a black shirt? So many decisions!

I looked at the independence II and Tonsberg and got the same dates you did. "It looks like they both go to Baltimore???"
You can try entering the VIN number in the 'ID' box on the WW link posted below. If you are in the WW system it will list the ship and schedule.

Tracking website: https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/. The page will allow you to enter your VIN in the Cargo ID field. If your MINI has been booked aboard a ship, your VIN will bring up a “Cargo Status History” and present you with a wide set of information related to your MINI’s cruise. You will find the status of your MINI as it progressed through the four stages of shipment – Booking, Reception at Terminal, Loaded on Vessel, and Discharged – at the bottom of the page.

I hope this helps.
